we have eaten this specific jersey mikes many times and have never had any issues until today. normally I wouldn’t leave a review for just one bad experience but this was unacceptable.
so back story first. I ordered delivery through the app and it was being delivered via doordash. the dasher said he dropped it off but he didn’t. so after speaking with doordash, I had to call jersey mikes because they were not answering doordash’s calls.
so after 4 tries, I finally get through to someone. she answers the phone with “we are not taking calls right now.” and I say that I needed a refund. she took ONLY my name, never asked for any other info or even why I needed a refund, then proceeded to hang up on me. I didn’t get to ask her name. so my husband went to the store. he walked in and an employee was cleaning the floors and he asked if he could speak to the manager. that employee asked “is there a problem?” and he said yes. so the manager comes and starts the conversation with “this is about the refund.” and he said yes and he didn’t appreciate the way I was spoken to over the phone. the manager said she will call the owner. great. she comes back with the receipt for the refund and slammed it on the counter saying “1-7 business days” so my husband said that was no way to treat a customer and he didn’t appreciate the attitude. he walked away and she said to another employee “I don’t know what he said and I don’t care. nobody cares.”
when a mistake happens, that’s fine. we are all human. but as a manager, you try to rectify the problem and at minimum apologize. never once was an apology said and unnecessary attitude was given multiple times. refusing to answer the phone because “they’re busy” would be fine if there were more than 4 customers waiting. if 4 customers waiting has you so stressed and unable to answer a phone that wasn’t even for an order, that is a problem. my husband and I have both worked in the food industry and would have lost my job if I spoke to a customer this way. this incident makes me never want to eat this location again. which is unfortunate because the food has...
Read moreI decided to do this review due to us having to leave another restaurant this day and not being greeted or waited on after 10 min. We decided to drive across town to Jersey Mike's on Boone trail for a quick meal at this point. We were greeted and ordered our food. As we waited for the food to be made, we looked for a table to sit. It was 2/09/2025 around 2:30pm. There were no customers in the store but all the tables were dirty. The table we chose was dirty and we saw a lady come out to clean so my partner asked, "excuse me, can you please wipe this table" The woman immediately got an attitude and said in a real firm and rude way "I was going to clean over there but yall was standing there" She said all this walking away to the back. She came back and started cleaning again. She must of cleaned the tables with a dirty rag because the table was more dirty than before she cleaned it. There was food and lettuce on the table now instead of crumbs and water drops. We sat at different table and ate. I went to the ladies bathroom, and that bathroom was so filthy. It been about over a year or so since I have been to this location. They had a floor wet sign right when you open the door. The floor was wet. It actually look extremely filthy as if hadn't been cleaned in years. The handles and other areas on the water were gross. I wish I took aperture but this floor looked like maybe someone swept it 1x a week. I mean this floor was gross! We didn't appreciate the attitude of the one lady cleaning the tables. She acted as if she hated being there and hated customers and her job. Poor hire on the mangers part for hiring someone who doesn't enjoy customer service positions. Read moreWe frequent this location as it is on my way home from work. Generly we do not have any troubles here. They stay busy! They remodeled recently and it is so inviting! Our last visit however I ordered online for curbside pick-up. I parked in front of the store and sat for a few minutes. Normally I do not do curbside, but I had children with me that day. So after a few moments I go in and give the lady my name, which she states she came outside and looked. I did not see her come out. So I get my order and go to get the kids their food. I drove the 20 minutes home only to find out the order was not mine. I know, I should have checked before hand so I take part responsibility. I call the store as I sent my husband back to get our correct order. I had them remake our subs as by the time it was all said and done they had been sitting out for over an hour. Once I was able to talk to the manager she gave us free combos for the trouble. Once we got the correct order and were able to enjoy it, it was delicious.
