Paddy's Irish Public House — Restaurant in Fayetteville

Dear Business Owner,

I am writing to bring to your attention a serious concern regarding the conduct of one of your managers, Kelsey. I am a regular patron who has always appreciated the atmosphere and quality of service at Paddy's, but my recent experiences have raised significant concerns.

On Friday, November 22, 2024, at approximately 1:10–1:20 AM, I was wrongfully removed from your establishment without cause. I encourage you to review the security footage from that time to better understand the situation.

The incident seems to stem from a review I posted nearly a year ago, which I deleted within 30 minutes after Kelsey’s friend politely requested it. Despite this, Kelsey continued to act in a hostile and unprofessional manner, even demanding an apology, which I found unwarranted as I was the one who felt mistreated.

On the aforementioned night, after being asked to leave, the police were called. I cooperated fully and requested to file a report, but the officers declined and escorted me off the premises. I was left feeling humiliated and mishandled despite having done nothing to warrant such treatment.

Recently, I discovered that I had been banned from your establishment without any clear communication or justification. This became apparent when I attempted to attend karaoke night with a group of over ten friends. Kelsey refused to allow us entry, citing the ban, and further escalated the situation by physically pushing one of my friends aside.

While I have always enjoyed Paddy's and have never had prior issues with other staff or security, Kelsey's behavior is unprofessional and reflects poorly on your management team. I believe her role as a manager requires her to display emotional intelligence, professionalism, and the ability to handle conflicts appropriately—qualities that, in my experience, she currently lacks.

I kindly request a response to this matter. I have video evidence and witnesses to corroborate my claims and would be happy to share them. I hope you will take appropriate steps to address this issue and ensure your staff receives the necessary training to de-escalate conflicts professionally.

It is not safe for females the security guards are violent and do not care for females safety. They don’t even ask what’s going on just 3-4 males dragging you out. PTSD triggered. Edit: You can obviously see by the response of the owner below this post the environment that is present for females at this establishment. Since the owner wants to spread lies I’ll tell what happened. I cuddled on my friends shoulder for 20 seconds with my eyes closed and the security guard came over and told me it was time for me to go. Not once was I offered water. I walked out calmly and proceeded to ask why. I wasn’t drunk whatsoever that night. They stated that I was drunk and had been sleep. In return I informed them that I hadn’t bought any liquor from them as their drinks are watered down and told them to check the footage if they didn’t believe me. They told me they didn’t care and it was time for me to go and I asked kindly if we could wait for our friend to drive up bc it was raining and she was almost there. They said no then three male security guards proceeded to drag me out of the establishment into the rain as and cuts my wristband off and I’m yelling for these THREE MEN to get off of me (PTSD triggered) when the female security guard finally walks up and stops them. I clearly stated to them that I would leave the establishment but only the female could escort me bc they did not make me feel safe. Not once did I strike anyone I fell down into a ball on the ground as the three men were trying to drag me. She talked to me for five minutes on how they were in the wrong and that it would be brought up in a meeting. Clearly it wasn’t. I literally had 6 other people with me there that can attest to this occurring. You lost my services when that happened and we were gladly not returning. This is definitely not a black friendly place either as a month prior our white friend was with us actually drunk and the security guard told her that she was good but if she fell one more time she was kicked out. Listen, I review places everywhere I go as you can see, and let me say this very clear, I’ve read the reviews, & to the negative ones, on my word & my wife’s word, the negative reviews PAY NO MIND TO! Here’s my story,

I called around 12pm clearly when they were CLOSED, I left a message in regards to a reservation. I got a call back 15 minutes later, I explained to them how my wife is hearing impaired, her hearing aids are giving her serious issues at the moment, they didn’t ask for any more information and were willing to reserve a table for me and my wife. Now arriving… Arrived we felt immediately welcome. The bartender who first took our order had the perfect sense of humor and personality, which you can barely find anywhere else here in Fayetteville NC. Let’s be honest! (Read my past bar reviews) the remaining bartenders began to check on us and make sure we had full drinks and were taken care of. Arriving now for comedy, little did Paddy’s know l, but my wife battles severe depression from her hearing disability, when we walked into the Comedy Section, there was one table that had a RESERVED paper on it right infront of the stage, and that made my wife drop a happy tear! She smiled and is bumping her head to the music on the speakers awaiting for the comedy to begin. Food arriving, food was FRESH, Pizza, Cajun fries, TO DIE FOR! Perfectly cooked & crust is my best part and I can’t stand crust so that tells you something, Being from New Jersey, I’m picky with pizza, this is better then Brooklyns Pizza… Listen, I came here on May 18th, THE COMEDY LINE UP, (I’m from Jersey Born & Raised, Best Comedy) THIS WAS THE BEST COMEDY LINE UP!
