One thing I got to say about Panda Express it is absolutely got to be the most clean and organized and orderly dare I say sterile restaurant you can eat at in all of Cumberland or Sampson county I mean you walk in and all these big bowls stainless steel bowls are sitting out like buffet style behind glass all different kinds of chicken and noodles and chicken and noodles and chicken and rice and chicken and chicken and noodles LOL but my point is it always looks clean like it was just cooked and I know it's not I'm not naive I see them go over there every couple of minutes and stir It up and I think like every 20 minutes or so they will go and get a clean bowl bring it out and dump that food in there so when you come in it always looks like it just came off of the stove and while I know it did not just come off the stove and it's not completely 100% fresh it still is the freshest Chinese in town I think and I don't care if it just looks that way because they keep the food stirred up in the bowls where it don't look dry and crusty the point is is that you don't lose your appetite when you're looking at it like you do it a Chinese buffet where stuff is sloppy and strode everywhere and the food is great got to love that almond chicken or whatever it's called it's got thin sliced almonds and orange chicken those are two of my favorites and they got really good shrimp scampi or some kind of shrimp that's really good and now that I've written a novel about Panda Express I release you my dear hostages into the world live long and prosper LOL and go to Panda Express they are just awesome it would be like going to the dentist office to eat dinner just without the rubbing alcohol smell it's...
Read moreToday we went to Panda Express. I have to say the food was really good. I would definitely go back for the food. But unfortunately, I felt so uncomfortable seeing the way the employees were talked to, I am pretty sure I won't return anytime soon. We came in around 1pm on Mother's Day. It wasn't very busy when we arrived. But after going there I can see why businesses are having trouble getting and keeping help. The manager was extremely rude to the employees. To the point of coming to the register opening our plates and correcting the employee in front of us. And telling us she gave us to much food. It was less than what you get at other restaurants. Especially similar ones in the mall. That was the first time we had ever been there and she was a brand new employee, that's what the manager told us. We heard her fussing with someone else when we walked in the door. And then as we were sitting there eating our food she came out and rudely got on somebody about their break very loudly in front of the customers. Her tone and management skills definitely need improvement. A manager needs to know to correct employees not in front of everyone and especially customers but to pull them aside and speak to them privately. It ruined our dining experience. Read moreLast Sunday I ordered through the drive thru. After ordering I proceeded to the window to pay for my order. The employee at the window took my payment, my debit card, but only gave me the receipt back. I did not realize she didn't give me my card back until after I left. I immediately returned to Panda Express and asked for my card. The employee had put it in a bank bag. I had a feeling something shady had happened. After getting home, I decided to check my checking account. Sure enough I had been charged $8.96 at 12:53 pm and $8.96 again at 12:56 pm for ONE teriyaki chicken bowl. I called Panda Monday and spoke to a male who I assume is the owner or manager. He said that sometimes the bank charges twice and to give it a couple of days and to call back if the double charge was still there. After a couple of days, I called back on Thursday and asked to speak with a manager and was told that no manager was there. Really!! After getting the run around and all kinds of excuses, the lady took my name and number and said she would give it to a manager to call me back. It is now Saturday and NO ONE has called me back. This is POOR customer service and Panda Express illegally got an extra $9.00 of my hard earned money!!!
