My boyfriend and I decided to stop in and get some burgers before our movie. We ordered a fried onion burger with sweet potato fries, a jalapeno bacon cheese burger with truffle fries, and queso fries to share. We got our drinks and took a seat waiting for our food. Our queso fries arrived and they were great. Then the bad part of our experience began. The girl who took our order brought us our food and I saw that my burger was not what I ordered. I told her that the burger was not the fried onion burger and she then instead of going to correct the error argued with me that they did not sell a fried onion burger. I said I was sure that's what was on the menu and that the fried onion burger did not come with peppers on it, which I could plainly see on the burger she was trying to give me. I had to get up and go look at the menu because she kept arguing with me. I reread what I ordered and came back to her and told her it was up there. She went with me to the counter still not believing me and then told me "huh I guess you're right." After having the cooks make me the correct burger she proceeded to tell me that the mistake was the cooks' and that she had put in for the correct burger even though she previously told me this burger did not exist. I assume she was lying to cover for her mistake. I went back to the table and another employee brought me my new and correct burger. No apology from the other employee or the original girl for the mistake. I wish that we had not tipped as much as we had, you tip when you order and pay, because this experience was bad enough that I would not recommend them to anyone nor do I plan to go back with service like that. Side note: My sweet potato...
Read more6-12-2024 visit. Stopped for lunch. They had a decent crowd. We ordered pretty quick but the food took a bit to come out. Aside that not a bad visit. Food was delicious, had a bacon double cheeseburger and some chili cheese fries, no complaints at all...........I think we visited here a few years ago when they had just opened, more than five years ago definitely. It looked very different this time around. Very sports barish. Game area, outside patio area, dining area with a full bar available. Place was extremely cold, which is good if you are having adult beverages cause they don't warm up, not so much that your food gets cold fast, so there's the pro and con on that. Take a windbreaker just in case.Food was absolutely delicious. Everyone in our party had burgers. But there were other items available. Food was hot fresh and handmade to order. I had the Triple G with queso fries, wife had a mushroom Swiss with onion rings (tastes just like the onion rings from sonic) and mom and dad had traditional double meat and cheese burgers. Walked in, placed order, sat down and another server attended us to take the adult beverage order. Food came out and we were checked on intermittently. They were moderately busy and didn't have too many servers available so I guess service was ok. Technically they were only needed for the adult beverage cause they drinks were fountain and self serve. All in all it was a very good visit. Not sure there is anything I would change other than maybe eat outside if the weather was good. Definitely be back to try...
Read moreYou're definitely coming here for the vibes, the burgers, and the prices. $50 for three people to get a shared app and entrees with some up charges is a steal for this area, but the food, with some exceptions, is below mediocre.
The loaded queso and salsa was a hit with our group, although I personally was not a fan of the salsa. I could have used more chips and they're a bit thin, but it was definitely the best thing we had.
As far as entrees go... don't bother getting anything that's not a burger here. The fish and chips were not good at all - I'd bet good money it was frozen fish. Very greasy, no flavor, soggy beer batter. The coleslaw and sauce that was allegedly jalapeño tartar sauce were both just tragic. The sauce in particular, I'm sorry to say, can only be described as "foul." I just ate the fish plain. The sweet potato fries that I paid extra for were also not great; greasy, flaccid, and again, almost certainly frozen fries.
The burger and onion rings were good. The chicken nachos were okay. Service was excellent and the live band that was playing on the Saturday evening we stopped by was enjoyable.
All in all, it's far from the best fare in the area, but I'd recommend it if you're just looking to throw back some beers and enjoy a burger and some live music and not...
