Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Fayetteville

Today I came in to pick up a mobile order for 5 slushies, I arrived a few mins after the scheduled ready time and then had to wait 20 mins to even be acknowledged even though I checked in on the app and I pulled up and pressed the button for service on the stall. Everytime I have been here they've left me waiting for minimum 5 mins to just be acknowledged at my stall and it is often times closer to 10 mins. On today's occasion after waiting so long to be acknowledged someone came out with someone else's order and when I told them that wasn't my order they couldn't find mine (I had the receipt so it definitely went through). When I finally got my drinks 2 were missing and 1 was wrong. I didn't feel like wasting my whole afternoon there so I left. If a restaurant is busy I understand but PLEASE let customers know they need to expect a wait and please at least acknowledge them. I've come in before and parked in a broken stall to order that was not marked as out of order and didn't realize because the button still made the noise and the screen was on. I waited for a while before one of the carhops running food let me know that the speaker/mic for that stall was not working properly. I don't fault all the highschoolers working there because you can tell they are trying their best. This is CLEARLY a result of poor management and...

They seem to be in a struggle with staffing at this time. I'm use to a bit of a wait because they are handling folks with order at the drive-thru, drive-up and the patio at any given time. It's a LOT. If I see too many people, I won't go. Yesterday, I attempted a quick drive-thru order that was just 1 drink. There was only 1 vehicle in front of me.

The staff was going through it. The order in front of me seemed to have only got something simple but it took well over 15 minutes. Anything could have happened. Maybe they needed to fix their order fresh. It happens. It was finally my turn. I pulled up and waited for a good bit. I saw my my cold drink just sitting at the window while I folks were scrambling back and forth... I waited for a good long while still. I ended up leaving without my order as it looked like it was going to be completely melted before I'd get it. 🙃

Like I said, they struggle a bit with staffing. But they have always been pleasant. I'll make an attempt again one day when I see they're not busy and see how it goes.

Would absolutely love to know why y'all towed my car after I literally came and talked to y'all three different times telling you that I was waiting on my insurance to come through so I'll be able to have the money to pay for my car to be moved!! Because I told you multiple times I did not have the money for my car to get towed and then go sit and they storage lot racking up money every single day until the insurance company called me back I told you I was unemployed after absolutely not afford it and you all agreed three separate times that my car was fine sitting there and still y'all called a tow place!! This is absolutely beyond the worst possible thing I could imagine a company doing somebody especially after agreeing to it and me telling you the story and telling you that I couldn't afford it and yet you didn't care went behind my back and do what I wanted to do my car was not in the way of absolutely nobody!!
