I recently ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for a bachelorette party and I will say that they were all delicious! They did the design almost exactly as I wanted and they were ready for me to pick up when I came in.

Now the negatives about my experience was that I ordered 4 different flavors for the cupcakes and was told that they were able to accommodate me. However, at 6 a.m. of the day that I was supposed to pick up my order, I was called and they said that they never got the shipment for one of my flavors and that they couldn't make those cupcakes. It was explained to me that I could pick two other flavors instead to replace it. I decided to do half and half but was promptly called back again just to say they didn't have the substitute flavor either.

This did upset me because they should've known when their shipment would arrive and tell me in advance instead of springing it on me the morning of pickup day. It felt as if they did that on purpose so that I wouldn't cancel my order and ask for my partial payment back which is exactly what I would've done because I needed all those flavors for the bride as they were her favorite.

Also, telling me that I could pick a substitute flavor just to call back and say that it wasn't available either seemed a bit ridiculous. I would expect for you to know for sure since you are giving me bad news and trying to make it better.

All in all my experience with Sweet Tooth Shop was okay customer service wise but the cupcakes...

It’s been 3 days and I’m still upset about this, so I’m going to have to leave a review. I hate leaving something negative, but come on; this was wrong.

I ordered a dozen cupcakes, and requested they be made a specific way. My husband picked them up because I had other errands to do. When I got them they were not made correctly. I ordered these specifically as my twins favorite flavors for their birthday. We weren’t able to have a large party so I wanted to do something special.

I called the bakery to let them know of the mistake. I did not open the container at all, because I didn’t want to break the seal. The manager/owner basically told me he “technically made the cupcakes” and that he would not refund. When I asked for new cupcakes to be made the way I ordered he said he only makes so many orders a day and wouldn’t make them. When I placed my order he didn’t specify only having one flavor of icing for it. I feel like it was on purpose, especially considering his response.

It was such a let down. I make it a point to try and support small businesses, but when this is done it discourages people. Especially paying $44 for a dozen of cupcakes that are not big by any means. They were not fancy either.

I ordered vanilla cupcakes with chocolate and strawberry in rotating order. Instead he made strawberry and chocolate cupcakes with vanilla icing. So, “technically” he made the right flavors, but it wasn’t...

Tried for the first time yesterday, and the following thoughts are my opinion with the disclaimer that food can be subjective based on personal preferences and tastes. I tried ordering online at first, but the order didn’t go through. The place appeared clean, and the employees seemed friendly, though, I kind of awkwardly stood there, because I didn’t know how they operate(if it’s only preorder, or if I say what I want). Prices seem on par and comparable to other places. For the food, the carrot cheese cupcake was my favorite, and the tres leches was good, followed by the Nutella cupcake. I thought the strawberry was just OK. For me, the frosting was a bit bland and sugary. I think I was expecting more of a tart, fruity taste— again, personal preference. The chocolate dipped Oreos were not what I was expecting. I guess I thought they’d be more of the soft crunch coating, kind of like grasshopper cookies or the homemade kind. I had the second one today, and the chocolate part was kind of rock hard. The chocolate cake pop was my least favorite thing— it smelled and tasted like old milk was used.
