Our first time trying this particular restaurant. It's NOT busy at all on a Sunday at 2:45 pm, so I'm already skeptical. We stand ing waiting to be seated. Remind you it is NOT busy. We are waiting almost 10 minutes before they even recognize us standing at the door. He says, "Sit where you like." We sit down & the same guy walks over with menus on the table and leaves. It's NOT busy!!!!!! We have to wait another 5 minutes to have drink orders placed. The chips were huge and extra greasy. They bring salsa & and some other dip that appears to be cheese mixed with something. It does NOT look good, and neither does it have flavor. I ordered a shot of Hennessey & a glass of coke on the side.
I'm about to drink my shot of Hennessey when I look down in my glass to see a fruit fly or gnat floating in my glass. The glass that contained the Hennessey was horrible dirty as well.
I immediately told the waiter about the problem. The waiter asked me how that bug get in your drink. I noticed the glass that contained the Hennessey was horrible dirty as well.
I'm devastated at this point. You can keep everything. I DO NOT want anything else from here. We agreed to just leave. The service was horrible. The place looks clean, but a gnat or fruit fly in my drink.
Not to mention, when we're entering the restaurant, the front door was wide open. Why do you have the door wide open to a restaurant? Unacceptable!
I will NOT be returning to this establishment. This does NOT deserve 1 start. 2 thumbs down for us I don't recommend...
Read moreI’ve tried Fuego Azul twice now, and both experiences have been major disappointments. Both times, my orders were incorrect and missing key components. Also, most of the salsas are incredibly underwhelming. None of them had any heat or depth; they were oddly sweet and completely lackluster. I honestly can’t recommend it based on my experiences so far.
First Visit: I ordered the Cali burrito, and it was an utter mess. Most of the expected ingredients were missing. Instead of a well-balanced burrito, all I got inside were cheese, steak, and fries. The beans were nowhere to be found, and the guacamole and pico de gallo, which should have been inside, were served on the side—why? It felt like the staff didn’t understand the concept of what a Cali burrito is supposed to be.
Second Visit: I decided to try the Quesabirria tacos, hoping for redemption, but it was another letdown. The tacos were bland, soggy, and missing the essential consommé. To top it off, there weren’t even any limes to add brightness to the dish. How does that happen with a dish that relies on bold, rich flavors?
At this point, Fuego Azul feels like a restaurant that doesn’t pay attention to quality or consistency. I’m willing to give it one last chance, but they’ll need to significantly step up their game. Right now, this place is all hype and...
Read moreWhen you come you must try the Birria Rolls! Honestly, this is the main highlight in my opinion when it comes to their appetizers. You cannot leave this place and not try them you would be doing yourself a disservice. Sam my waitress was awesome and had excellent customer service. She was very attentive to my needs during my visit. Fabian, the owner even dropped by the table and asked how my food tasted… speaking of that let’s break down these Birria Rolls. They are perfectly fried on the outside which provide just the right bite.. packed and loaded with plenty of beef well seasoned on the inside that bursts with so much flavor your taste buds won’t want the party to end. Just when you thought things couldn’t get better, you dip them in that Beef Consume and realize something was missing yet you didn’t even know it! On payday, don’t forget about Fuego Azul, perfect spot to have lunch or dinner on the weekend. I can assure you that you won’t be wasting your time or money. Give them a chance as they continue to build what I believe will be a great success here in Fayetteville! Beautiful inviting colors on the inside too...
