I frequent his location several times a week. Typically the service is superb. However today one employee ruined my previous visits to the establishment. My order for myself alone every visit is a minimum of $21.06. Upon my food being prepared I noticed an item was placed on my tray that was not cooked as ordered. I mentioned it to the employee on the line and she quickly got a attitude asking the cashier did I order it that way. The cashier immediately told her yes and she proceeded to speak recklessly behind the counter. It really took me out if my element as there should not have been an issue. Why are you upset? I would have been really upset had I gotten all the way home and my food was no correct. The owner who works at the establishment came and apologizes once I asked for information to contact the corporate offices advising he was privately owned and operated by him. My wife asked if we could substitute the rice on her plate with noodles, and the answer was no. They have a rice side but not noodles? So, instead of paying an additional $3 or $4 we paid an extra $8 for a veggie yakisoba w/o the veggies so my son could eat some noodles 😕... And, the noodles tasted like all spice... I wanted a side of onions and zucchini with my entree (which is supposed to come with hibachi vegetables and instead they just substituted the veggies (funny they could substitute veggies but not noodles)... The dumplings were soggy, stale, and cold... The Ramsey St location was better but, I'm not sure if we'll be returning to any locations after this. We order the same thing every single time. A fillet bowl. If we order the fillet bowl and eat at the restaurant, it’s correct. If we order it to go, which we do often, they always give us regular steak. Which is cheaper. We have complained at least 6 times and they always apologize and remake the food. But today, the manager on duty argued that it was in fact fillet when it absolutely was not and refused to remake the food. When you eat something enough, you know the difference.
