Taco Bell — Restaurant in Fayetteville

I’ve tried giving this specific Taco Bell a chance more than a couple of times and after today, will not be going back to this specific location. Other locations have been great, this one doesn’t seem to care what they hand out of the window, and forget about it if you have any type of “special request”. They messed up an order 3 times and I just don’t want to go back another time to have them “fix” it yet again. I ordered one of the most popular menu items: a 5 layer burrito. The only things I asked to be changed on my 5 layer was to swap the beef for chicken, add rice, and have it grilled. The first time they gave me a 5 layer with no meat at all and with no added rice, so it was all beans and cheese. The second time of trying to fix the first mistake, they gave me a regular burrito, with only chicken and sour cream. My husband ended up taking both items back over because I didn’t want to deal with them, and he told them the issue, and the workers claimed they remade it correctly. When he showed them what they made, the worker told him “that’s not what I made”….how did we get the item, then? Third time when they gave the 3rd re-made 5 layer, it still wasn’t a true 5-layer because it didn’t have the extra wrap of the nacho cheese layer, but everything else was correct. I live right down the street from this Taco Bell and work even closer, so I make frequent stops here. I would like to say that my visits are usually okay, however, more often than not (I mean that when I say it) my order is incorrect in several different ways, even though it was rung up correctly by the cashier. Order accuracy is awful here. It's so bad, It's become a running joke between my roommate and I. The number of times I've had to call and speak to the staff about getting my correct food are so frequent I've actually saved this Taco Bell's number in my phone as a contact. The other issue I experience quite frequently is poor quality food/food being sent out that doesn't meet expectations. A three taco meal where the wrappers are literally drenched with and dripping with grease, nachos that are no longer crisp and warm, dry, cracked tortillas, and cold cheese are a few examples. Portions are usually quite small versus other locations, where I frequently receive less than half of a portion cup of cheese or guacamole. Sometimes my order comes out fine with no issues, but it's so inconsistent that I can't count on it. To their credit, the staff are usually more than friendly and try to be accommodating to me, but even so, it can't redeem the rest of the experience. I ordered a mexican pizza a number 6, 2 chalupa supremes and taco and I request the taco to be made supreme as well for my $1.10 upcharge. The taco was not supreme nor well laden with meat, enough so to complain, for the record. I go back to the store whereupon they replace the taco properly made and had me a few free taco coupons, cool. Back on the road. Next the first chalupa. The shell was the chewy old shell that we all pray we dont get and one chalupa was flat out beef. I go back a second time and this time request that they replace the entire order because I know my mexican pizza is now a cold congealed mass, which they do, along with a few more coupons. All the way home this time to find that the taco has tomatoes added on but so sour cream. Disappointed I eat my meal and then decide to check the coupons to see when I need to use them and wouldnt you know it they expired last year 12/31/22. giving them the benefit of the doubt, I call to tell them to say the coupons they are giving out are expired. Thats when whomever was on the other side of the line said "what!' and hung up the phone...
