Had The most traumatizing experience today 07/30/23. 10:30am. As I’m walking in to be seated mind you I am happy, at peace and alone. I get confronted by a waiter whom was adamant to have me leave because they were full. However, as a consumer for many years I was more than okay to wait! The waiter continued to make remarks as “Its full it’ll be awhile,” and by the body language and tone it was definitely because he was over just being there. Meanwhile as I am already sitting for about 20 minutes HAPPILY , the same waiter seats a couple before seating me. At this point I started to feel neglected because he acknowledged me and did something completely different in frustration of me even being there. I then saw a seat that was opened and sat in it at the bar on the corner by the fork’s, spoon, and knives. I then was asked what would I like to order and placed it. As I’m waiting I saw I was missing a spoon. This is where it gets interesting, as I’m seeing others grabbing forks spoons and other utensils I continued and got a spoon. suddenly all voices stop and all you hear is the team manager at 10:30 07/30/23 yelling disrespectfully, and UNPROFESSIONALLY “ IF YOU WANT A SPOON YOU SHOULD ASK ONE OF US NOW I HAVE TO WASH ALL THE UTENSILS “ her tone was carried across the entire building some even felt uncomfortable. She grabs all of the utensils and throws them in the sink so aggressively it could of been an osha hazard!!! I asked for the bill when the food wasn’t even served yet paid and left. The same woman saw others doing it and it made me feel discriminated against and so uncomfortable!!! I have never been spoken to like that nor assaulted verbally in this way. Read moreI have never had a satisfactory experience with this restaurant. We are willing to pay whatever it costs but we want our order done right! Today my husband went to pick up a to go order. Salad, Cheese Steak sandwich w/Hash browns and an order of triple hash browns w/scrambled eggs. (he took his own diced up tomatoes because they NEVER give us enough!) If I want an ENTIRE tomato in my hash browns then they should charge me for an entire TOMATO and just make it happen and do it happily! The manager was there and, after YELLING at the waitress, the cook, AND my husband about outside food on HER grille, she made the order (with his tomatoes) and packed it, all the while acting like she was doing him a favor. She also gave him a hard time about wanting his eggs cooked with his hash browns. When we opened the bag there were no utensils, napkins, salt or pepper, there was only one salad dressing and no crackers, and my bacon was practically raw. I called and spoke to the manager who never apologized or offered to make it right, she just went into the waffle house policy about outside food. She never even asked WHY he brought his own tomatoes. She wasn't bothered at all to lose us as customers. This woman is completely INCOMPETENT and seemed hell bent on talking to us both as if we were HER EMPLOYEES! Its baffling to me how a manager doesn't know how important up-selling and repeat business is to a restaurant. Good customer service is not only free but gives you an edge over your competition. We haven't been here in a couple of years, but I felt like hashbrowns & grits for Mother's Day. Knowing the place would be crowded, we opted for a to-go order. Apparently, they have an app now. While it allows you to choose how you want your eggs (scrambled, over light, over medium, etc), you can't do that with anything else. We wanted our bacon light. No comments section, nothing. I tried calling the restaurant, and a pre-requisite voice answered, telling me to use the app. I rushed down to the restaurant, a good 10 minutes before the order was supposed to be ready for pick up. My girls went inside to request the bacon be light, and the waitress at the counter told them it was already cooked & medium. I went inside and told them I had wanted it light, she told me the same thing, I said, well I can't eat medium, I wanted light. They remade it. After arriving home and unpacking our order, I realized they did not give us our double order of hashbrowns, our toast was not toasted, and our food was cold.
