I don't like writing nasty reviews, but here are the painful details of how I picked up some of the food I paid for 30 minutes after it was supposed to be ready.
I placed an online order with a gift card for my wife and me. I arrived a few minutes early and saw that the drive through was pouring into the street. I didn't know that the lobby was closed, so I pulled into a parking spot. I learned that the lobby was closed, so I decided to call and ask about my order. I was told that I need to get in the drive through. I'm not impatient, but I didn't particularly feel like making a left turn on one of the busiest streets in Fayetteville just to turn around again and block traffic in the rightmost lane as I wait for food in the middle of the road. I asked if I could not do that, and I was told that I could get my food at the door in 10 minutes (it was about two minutes after it was supposed to be done already). This was agreeable, so I waited. I went to the door 10 or 11 minutes later. I waited for a moment. I think the workers could see me, but admittedly I didn't stay long because there was a door dasher there who was pretty angry and it was awkward. The drive through had died down, so I backed up and got in line. I realized that the reason for the wait wasn't so much that they were busy as that each person was waiting about 3-5 minutes at the speaker to begin ordering. Even if the food was just as slow, if the orders were at least faster, then at least they would have been able to pull towards the window and the drive through wouldn't be in the street. There was only one car at the window and several car lengths of empty room behind. It took another 5-7 minutes to get my food even as I was towards the front of the line. I had some of it in my hand 30 minutes after it was supposed to be ready and about 15 minutes after it was actually ready, if the previous 10 minute estimate was accurate. I do not recommend this location. It needs new management obviously.
Today I ordered the two entree plate, with two portions of wok seared steak and shrimp. When I got to where I was eating lunch I discovered that they gave me 4 pieces of steak and 3 shrimps....very short of the normal for 1 order much less two portions.....they have good food but apparently are not set up for large amounts of customer traffic and simply cut corners.... shorting a customers meal is unacceptable...

The drive through is not ran professionally and efficiently. They lie to customers and "say please pull around front and someone will be out with your order in 3-4 minutes". I have waited 12-19 minutes. On the 19 minute occurrence I went inside and my order was setting on the counter. The clearly rattled manager replied with "well feel free to not come back", when informed him i had been waiting 20 minutes, and had been lied to. They send people around front and forget about them. Yesterday I explained to the girl who brought my order out that the drive through guy said 3-4 minutes and it had been 12.....I said he lied and it happens all the time, she said well you can speak to my boss if you want.....
They apparently do not have a system to follow up promptly with delayed drive through orders. Also the parking lot is way too small for pull around and wait situations.
They have apparently forgotten that the customers satisfaction the most important part of their business model. The food is decent but the understaffed, reactionary, management is highly unprofessional.
The ownership needs to take notice and take steps to put calm, professional effective management in place who understands they are catering to a customer base who live on a schedule working in a time frame that demands efficiency.

Read moreWell really didn’t get what we paid for… not only did we wait for almost 30 minutes in line, but once we got to the order speaker we were greeted with a “give us just a moment”. It took them almost 5 minutes to actually ask for our order. But the order wasn’t taken until after someone with a bad attitude came on and said “we are closing in 20 minutes so the menu is limited. Tell me what you want and I will tell you if we have it”. We placed our order just to receive some sloppy food thrown into a bag. Our Bowles that we ordered weren’t mixed in at all. The meat was boxed separate from the noodles and rice. Then we’re placed in a bag and handed our upside down and sideways leaking fluids and juices out. Honestly it usually takes forever to get food here but the service this time was just unacceptable. The employees all but said that they didn’t want to be there. I know it is stressful being in a fast food/ customer service industry. I’ve done it for years. But you need to either take pride in your work or find another job because if i were the manager owner I would be absolutely embarrassed to have any relation to this Panda Express!
