This happened on 9/12/25 at 9:35am I honestly hate to complain and I hate to write a bad review. Especially for Ziggi’s, literally my favorite place to get my energy drink every day for like the last 3 years! But since I’ve moved down to Westminster, I’ve had a couple of bad experiences at two different locations. I don’t know what it is, but the customer service is terrible and today’s experience was worse than my last bad experience due to the barista who took my order at the window, who was extremely condescending and aggressive. I literally come to Ziggis almost every single day, and I order the same exact energy drink the same exact way every single time. So after three years, you would think I know what it tastes like! But today when I got my drink, it was a totally different color, that was the first red flag, and then upon tasting it it tasted so bad, nothing like what I usually order.. I literally wouldn’t take it for free let alone pay $10 for it Nobody wants to waste their money on something they don’t like or want. I’m sure the people who work there wouldn’t wanna pay $10 for something they didn’t like either! Yet the brunette girl at the window with the glasses and purple shirt was super rude to me. When I came back and told her my drink didn’t taste right she treated me like I was lying, who would wanna come back through the drive-through to complain??? Nobody but at the same time I don’t wanna waste my money because somebody doesn’t know how to make the drink right or is too lazy to make the drink right. She acted like the drink was made right and I just didn’t like it. I explained to her I’ve been coming for years getting the same thing she suggested they make it a different way from what I asked for. I told her no I don’t want it made differently. I want it the same way I’ve ordered for the last 3 years but I want it done right! She acted like I was a liar and such an inconvenience for her. They remade my drink and handed it to me this time by just looking at it I could tell it was done right because of the color. She kept insisting I try it right there at the window, and I kept trying to calmly and kindly explain to her that I didn’t want to complain, but it tasted so awful, and she got so upset and started yelling into the store saying that I didn’t want to taste it! As if that was proof that I was lying about how it tasted. Why would I wanna waste my time lying about something like this? If you don’t have a good customer service, maybe you shouldn’t be working with customers! Because gaslighting your long time customers and making them seem like they’re lying is not the way to go! I’ve included some screenshots from my Ziggis app account so you can see I’ve been coming here for a long time and almost every day! The app only goes back about one year and you can see how...
Read moreSuper disappointed in my experience today and previous 2 times this week. My husband and I came in memorial day morning. As we had been here two time before this week because we love the location and honestly love this specific store. There was 2 baristas one on bar and the other was on drive-thru (B). B was and has always been a great example of how great customer service should be. The barista on bar however had made our experience so uncomfortable. When we asked for utensils it seemed like we were bothering her to do her job by providing utensils to go along with our food. We didn't even interrupt her because it was busy in the drive-thru. Still gave a "thank you" but nothing in return. The whole time we dined in there was nothing but grunts and foul language coming from her. As customers walked in she would look and shake her head. At one time she said people would feel her wrath. Being on bar and more closer to the FOH I would coach her into being more professional. I am a manager of a coffee shop myself and there is no way I would be okay with this type of behavior from my baristas. Why am I tipping for this kind of service? I was going to order another drink to go but she has set the mood to where I don't want to deal with her attitude. This location is going to lose business with this barista here with here attitude. She makes it feel very unwelcoming. As stated before I work in a coffee shop. I know how it is being short staffed and super busy. What you do as a baristas is take one order at a time, one coffee at a time and be as friendly as you can. Note to management please coach her, please acknowledge this behavior. It's an attitude like this that will turn good...
Read moreThis Ziggi’s location is run by an owner and managers who could not care less about their employees. They treat their employees of color (who were also some of their best and hardest working staff) much differently than the others, and apply the rules differently.
MULTIPLE incidents happened in my 2 months there, where in identical scenarios, there were no repercussions when they happened to a white employee, but the employee of color received a warning and/or write up. Additionally, the employees of color were constantly treated as aggressive and hostile by the trainers and management, despite getting along with every coworker.
An example of this is the way I was fired. They let me go (same day, over the phone) because I called out with a 101° fever and was unable to find a cover (despite the fact that we do temperature checks when we clock in, and would’ve immediately sent me home anyways). I emailed the owner the day of, and no response. I have emailed corporate multiple times as well, and still no response.
I cannot speak for all locations, but this Ziggi’s is a terrible place to work, and I would never want to spend money somewhere that treats their employees this way.
P.S. Their coffee isn’t fresh. They let it sit for 2 hours before brewing a new one (compared to other coffee shops, who brew a new one every...
