High Tide Coffee and Bowls — Restaurant in Fenwick Island

I’ll start off by saying I NEVER leave bad reviews. When you walk in it’s confusing because you don’t know that there’s certain sides to order coffee. They do not offer taking numbers and they should considering how packed it gets. I stood in line forever and people that just walked in came in the front of all of us and ordered. Then I finally get to place my order and they said sorry we need a sign to let people know it’s only the other side. Most people are on vacation we don’t know that. I parked and went in without knowing there’s different sides. She was nice apologized and said to go to the other side and there’s not many people there. So I go and the other side is fully packed. I get in line again now behind the people who went in front of me on the other side. As I’m in this long line I look up and see a huge sign that says the like I’m in is for pick up and shows the line to place the order is to the left by the door. So I get out of another line and get into the line to order. I wait for all these people to place their order and then I’m finally next go to order and people go in front of me again. So I asked were you in line to place an order he said yes. Now I’m really mad like really you need numbers. My family sat in the car for 30 minutes and I still didn’t get coffee because the line was even longer. Get it together and make it not so confusing or get numbers. People shouldn’t wait for coffee for 30 minutes and end up with nothing. I ended up going to Ba Roos Ice Cream and Coffee down the road. They literally had almost all the same things for half the price! Plus it’s not crazy packed like...

This is a great little shop. It's not a hidden gem because everyone seems to know about it.

The lines can be long, but it's worth the wait.

For all you north western VA, western Maryland chip fans out there, they actually have Rt. 11 chips for sale in the shop.

The bowls are great (pro tip - if you're JUST getting a bowl, go right over to the bowl side of the restaurant). The sandwiches are great too. If you're adventurous and like a little kick, try the surfer with pepper jack cheese.

Shirts, hats, and other whatnots also for sale.

If you're lucky enough to be able to hit this little gem in the shoulder or off season, sit down in the oversized couch and chairs and take a load off while you enjoy.

Save up a bit as it's not inexpensive, but as they say, you get what you pay for, and for me, this is money we'll spent.

I was recently referred to Hi Tide by a friend . Driving through Fenwick Island with my son we stopped in and asked for Maddy . The restaurant is clean and designed for a comfortable experience. The staff is very friendly and the service excellent. I have lived been / lived across the country and only visit places that are especially good, unique and fantastic in all aspects. Hi Tide is one of those! I got the BLT and my son the protein bowl . Both were great and while eating I said this feels and tastes like you just got something served from a friend or family member in their kitchen or home ! Everything was made to order and not warmed up from a bag ! Great job Maddy and Hi Tide in Fenwick Island !...
