Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Ferguson Township

Not very good customer service and they don't have follow through with the advertising they have on their own window. And only offer select sizes that they want to use even though Rita's has a few different sizes normally. I can get over all that for custard and Italian ice but then they were really rude to my teenage sister and refused to let her pick toppings for her sundae then told her they could only charge 3.52 to her card and she must just not have anymore money which she did have enough on her card. An establishment cannot just charge a certain amount of money if the bank/debit card does not have enough on it . They can only do that with a gift card if that's what's left on it. She gave them cash for the rest but I believe she accidentally typed in 3.52 for the charge on the card and didn't want to charge her card again. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my experience here. There are other Rita's near my hometown that I enjoy but this was not one of them. My girlfriend's cotton candy water ice did not taste right. However, I cannot comment on other water ice flavors. I bought a Reese's Take 5 Crunch Concrete custard. When I received the dish, the quantity of custard and take 5 pieces was not adequate. I was charged over $6 for a small amount of custard in what seemed to be a small size cup. Additionally, the custard was not filled to the top of the cup and there wasn't much take 5 crunch in the mixture. Total, our bill was $10 for a small water ice and a small partially filled take 5 custard. I know Rita's is pricey, but this was overall a disappointing experience. You're better off going to the PSU creamery right...

Worst place ever... I was trying to get a sugar-free Italian ice... they only had tangerine... that wasn't happening so I asked for a chocolate ice. The girl handed me a chocolate custard.. I explained that I wanted an Italian ice, she said we don't have that today... she said the flavors they had were on the sign... there were only like 6 flavors... no chocolate... no cherry.... seriously a joke. Parking lot is weird and totally sucks as well. I think they just opened and have no idea what they are doing at this location... literally go anywhere...
