In my experience they are unfriendly and rude with those not familiar with the store. Staff approached me with extremely hostile energy and basically yelled me out of the shop. I came in looking to get more information on a couple things passed on to me from my late grandfather and was met by a rude and very loud man. I understand I didn’t bring in anything that was insanely valuable and most of it wasn’t even their specialty but I don’t understand why I was met with open hostility instead of just friendly dialogue about what I brought in and where I should go to to actually get what I was looking for because I CLEARLY didn’t know. Man was not interested in dealing with me or my things and opted to be short, rude, and awkward with me instead of politely explaining everything and sending me on my way. The owner is friendly, caring, and knowledgeable and provides an atmosphere where new and seasoned gamers from all walks of life can feel comfortable. The store is stocked with a variety of games and gaming accessories from board games to TCGs, TTRPGs, and even some miniature games (with space to learn and play them in store.). IGAR is also graced with friendly and helpful clientele on a daily basis. I have met some truly awesome friends here. My only complaint? Needs to be bigger. Visit this store and give them all...
Read moreWent in to check it out last Saturday morning and it looks like a cozy place to hang out and enjoy some games. They have some demo board games available to try some of the games for free before purchasing and, if they don't have the game you want you can ask them to order it for you for a slight discount! I bought a couple games I haven't seen in most other stores. They seem to have a little something for everyone, from Magic: The Gathering and Vampire the Masquerade to Ticket to Ride and Sherlock Holmes, it's all there! It seems like they also will let some groups come in to their common area to play which is a great thing! Can't wait to bring my...
