Went by at 9pm when they closed at 10pm. Actually placed an online order around 8:40pm for 2 dozen assorted donuts, and donut holes. They had my phone number and email address, but I didn't hear from them. Stopped by to get my donuts and was informed that they didn't have any donuts except plain glazed. This is such a typical thing now in Florissant. These restaurants are open until 10, 11, midnight, but you stop by an hour or more before they close and either they just aren't taking orders at all or they tell you they've basically shut everything down and LOOK LIKE they're open, but they don't have anything to sell. Why stay open at all? Oh, because if you all left your owner would know you did and you wouldn't get paid. But I doubt the management and owner would be thrilled to know he's paying FOUR of you to work until 10pm when you stop selling at 8pm. They refunded me and told me to come back tomorrow if I wanted my order filled because they open at 6am. I don't do 6am. That's why I'm here late at night, when YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OPEN! This attitude and open-but really closed thing in this area is really getting old. Y'all wonder why we don't have nice businesses and restaurants opening in our area? It's because this is the attitude of the people available to work for those businesses. Why would anyone want to open a business here or a franchise here and deal with this? I don't blame them. I'll just continue to drive to St Charles or Granite City for businesses that are actually open during their...
Read moreHaven't had Krispy Kreme for a long time until today and now i remember why, there donuts taste like crap, their overpriced and their not handmade, like the old fashioned doughnut shops around town. I had a craving for krispy kreme and when i bought a half dozen assorted flavors, i realized they use to much glaze on the doughnut when the glaze get hardened the excess crumbles and falls off the doughnut making a huge mess on my kitchen table because they use to much glaze. I will not eat there donuts again, instead i will keep going to the donut shop iv'e been going to for years now, Old Town Donuts in Florissant, they have excellent donuts, they are all handmade, not rolling off an assembly line, there dirt cheap when you use the donut coupon in there website i can get a dozen donuts for 5 bucks ad two dozen for 10 when i use the donut coupon on their website. Old Town Donuts in Florissant is the king of the donuts around here, as long as they dont run out of the vanilla long johns they have done that a time or two because they are to die for, Old Town will have my business for years to come, keep up the excellent work Kieth Took owner of Old...
Read moreI took my daughters in here today for a fresh hot donut (because the sign was on) and we were also going to buy a couple others and a few drinks! There was a lady working the drive threw that was actually working and there were 2 others standing there chit chatting. It took them 3-4 minutes before one of them came over and asked what we wanted! I told her about the ones in the case that we wanted and then asked if we could also get a hot one! There were none on the belt so she walked back to take them off a tray and put them on the belt! I thought this was weird! But as she walked back there she took her phone out of her back pocket with the only hand she had a glove on! I told my daughters that they could get their donuts in the case but we weren't getting a hot donut that she had touched with her dirty glove! She then walked up and proceeded to get the donuts out of the case with the same dirty glove! I told her we were going to pass and told her exactly why! She was never friendly from the get go. I can live with that but the uncleanliness is a no for me! Won't...
