Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Missouri

I made a mobile order on the app on my way home from a late teach of teaching elementary school: 2 Breakfast Jacks, 6 tacos, 1 jumbo egg roll, for drive-thru pick-up. I arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes after I made the app order, which showed was ready in the app. There were many cars in the drive-thru: from the window, around the building, past the speaker box, to the viewing box. It was about 6.15p, evening dinner rush, I get it. Busy. There was van in front of me that sat at the speaker box for a few minutes. I rolled down my window and heard an employee ask "Are you ready to order?" Seeing many people in the van, I thought picking up my order by going through the drive-thru would take much longer to wait. I pulled out to drive around to the front of the building to go inside to pick-up my order. As I was driving around I saw all of the cars in front of the van at the speaker box were gone, I drove up to the speaker box. An employee opened the window while a manager was taking the order at the speaker box. I told the employee I pulled around to pick-up my order because the app said it was complete and the van was going to be a big order. She walked over to the counter, grab my closed bag w/ my name written on it, and handed it to the manager. The manager told me to not pull out of line again for if my order was not ready then she was going to have to ask me to go park. I let her know the app said my order was complete, to which her reply was the app says an order is complete sometimes when it is not (that is comforting). After all of that, I get home, open my bag to have dinner, and my jumbo egg roll was missing. I had the sauce for the egg roll, but no egg roll itself. Also, there was a handful of taco sauce packs in my bag. I did not request any in the app, nor at the window, and I actually do not use sauce on my tacos. Translation: wasted sauce packets. The tacos were a little skimpy. The breakfast jacks were good. At least there were napkins in the bag, so...

It was right before midnight, and there were just a couple of cars in line. The lights were on in the establishment and in the drive-thru. By the time I made my way to the window, I sat for about 3 minutes waiting to be greeted by the staff member before I noticed there was a FAINT sign covering the order box stating they were closed until 10:00 a.m. the following day. I proceeded to pull away from the drive-thru, only to notice one of the cars that were previously in front of me getting their food from the pickup window. I pulled up to the pickup window, and before I could inquire about whether they were open the gentleman instructed me to pull back around. I reminded him that he never said anything to me at the order window, but he insisted no one had pulled up and I should quickly go back around. Of course, when I pulled back around there were three additional cars in the drive through. By the time I made it BACK to the order window, the gentleman promptly greeted me by stating, "Welcome to Jack in the Box. It's going to be at least 5 minutes before I can take your order, and it's cash only right now." As I scrounged for cash in my purse and car, I reminded him of our conversation, and that he told me to pull back around. He then asked me what I wanted to order. I planned to order three egg rolls. You guessed it, they were out of egg rolls. I bought a house in this neighborhood over 10 years ago, and it's sad to say that because of similar experiences, I've dodged this location for more than 5 years. It wasn't just the egg rolls, it was the full experience that ruined it for me once again. I won't be back though...some things...

First thing, I loathe criticism of others, due to imperfections in myself. Before I decided to write this I read previous reviews of this restaurant and it seems that it's a 70/30 leaning towards mediocre. Not a morning person and because White Castle had a huge line I went up the street to this Jack in the Box. Never had an issue, but hadn't been there since February. My food was "warm" my Jumbo platter had no eggs and instead of the pancakes I asked for I received crispy French toast. On top of all this I was asked to pull up to wait which I don't mind doing , but couldn't understand since there was only one car in front of me. Employee was a pleasant fellow, who I repeated my order to and reminded that I needed the large drink I ordered as well. It's experiences such as these that reminds me that $16.12 for what I received was way too much. I was told my order would be prepared again on another day, but I guess that will be an...
