Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Fernandina Beach

It's my second time having Jimmy Johns in Fernandina since they've opened. It's fast and convenient, I like the fact that they deliver! I love their chips, the Jalapeno is my favorite. Now the sandwich, it can be a little pricey for the amount that you get and it's not very consistent. The first time I had Jimmy Johns I had ordered a BLT with extra bacon because let's face it, people always skimp on the bacon. There was a fair amount of bacon but hardly any lettuce which I didn't ask extra for because c'mon it's supposed to be a BLT! You have three components to a BLT.. Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato, how can you get that wrong? My second visit I ordered the "Club Lulu" which consisted of Turkey and Bacon. I learned my lesson from the first visit so, I requested extra turkey and lettuce. I also decided to add for an extra dollar an avocado spread. Now, if you would take a look at the picture, where is my spread? I had to search for it to even believe that it was there, I'm sure glad I didn't spend $2 for "Extra" avocado spread if that one is a regular. Aside from that disappointment, the sandwich was okay. There's a lot of other sub joints in the area and I prefer a Publix sub most of the time but for convenience purposes of delivery, Jimmy Johns...

We go to Jimmy John's often and are never disappointed! I appreciate the consistency. You don't ever have to worry about "what will I get today". Usually we get delivery, which is always freaky fast lol. But today we went in. Service was excellent and the price was right. I got the #17 ham and bacon sandwich with yummy jalapeno chips. They had a new lemon sunshine cookie that looked scrumptious. I always enjoy looking at the different decorations in the store. Sort of a "I didn't see that sign last time" feel. The restrooms were nice and clean, well stocked. Tables were all wiped down and the soda area was clean. I say this because 100 people had came and gone and an employee was on it! THIS is what a sandwich looks like people! Joshua has in my opinion, earned the title of "Sandwhich Artesian." Great guy, wonderful personality, and LITERALLY took almost a Dr. Level quality of attention to what we wanted. I live in Colorado and saw the Jimmy John's sign and ended up upsetting some other drivers in the manner of which I changed my vector to come in hot! And I'm so glad I did.
