Please, please, please do not doordash from this restaurant!!!! They are truly the worst McDonalds! I have no idea why the owners of the three restaurants in town can possibly keep the management staff they have!
If they are not ignoring you all together, they are being rude. They treat doordashers like garbage and force us to wait 45 minutes to an hour for orders.
The restaurant is disgusting as well. They put as much care into cleaning as they do for customer service, and that is zero.
I truly think the owners do not read the reviews. I've met them and they are a really old couple that sometimes visits the store, but the store is very different when they are there.
Please avoid doordashes from here!
I just want to update you. Now, for whatever reason, they are trying to not put the required doordash tickets on the orders! We need them to confirm the pickup! In addition, I overheard one of the managers saying "we don't want them to see the prices on the tickets", as he tore the slip, leaving only the order #. This seemed really shady at the time and is certainly not the doordash protocol for our pickups!!!
Just more reasons you should choose anywhere but here to doordash from!!! Literally anywhere!!!!!
Also! Since this will just be a running log of incidents the owner will ignore I figured I will also tell you my theory on why this McDonalds is staffed with seemingly intentionally confrontational and, let's be honest, unintelligent staff, rather than eager, and motivated young people, that would gladly be paid the same, and would manage circles around the current management.
I believe it's so we don't complain when the staff is replaced with a fully automated store (AI)! It makes perfect sense! Why else would they ignore the plea of their customers? Taco bell is not as bad, but pretty close. It would not be a stretch to think those business owners are not friends and have not at least thought about automating it.
I'm against AI taking jobs. Full stop. However...... this restaurant would be acceptable if they refuse to hire teenagers that want to work and learn. The line for me is how confrontational the management staff is here. You can't hire from the west side of Jacksonville and not expect west...

Let's just say I feel bad for the couple of people who work here and actually do their job right. There's been quite a few times I order something here, pull out of the drive thru lane to check that my order was right, and to my avail be missing something. There's a few times I didn't have the patience for it and just left but the one time I went in there the guy was frustrated because he literally told the lady at the drive thru lane that they were out of what I ordered, but instead of telling me so I could either get a replacement or a refund, tried to take my money.
There's an older lady that's been working here for quite a while now and I have no clue how, she's very rude and cannot multitask to save her life. The line always drags when she's the one in charge of drive thru duty because she can't take orders while counting change like every other cashier can. That's not the worst part about her though, she's very rude. My mom enjoys McDonald's sweet tea and that's really the main reason she even goes to McDonald's, well there's been a few times that lady was filling up the teas and it looked like she was filling it up with unsweetened so my mom asked her when she had handed the cups to her if they were sweet, in which the lady barked "well that's what you ordered isn't it?" Well yeah she gave her the wrong tea.
Now another story which was completely ridiculous happened to my dad when he came here, mind you he was pulling a truck with a trailer and went through the drive thru so there was physically no way he would've been able to cut Infront of someone, well this lady at the drive thru went bat sh*t crazy on him! Telling him he cut the line so she would refuse to serve to him. So he parked and went in, when he did so everyone in the store refused to take his order, he heard her yelling at the other employees to not serve him. Worse service received in any industry. Staff is rude, inattentive and purposefully vindictive.
I ordered at kiosk as there were no other options. The payment step was far from intuitive so I selected the pay at counter option (also far from intuitive), as did about 10 other people.
We (me and the 10 other people) waited for about 30 minutes. While the staff tirelessly slaved to accommodate the drive through rush. Several times during this 30 minute period, staff members made eye contact with many of the inside customers and passed through the gaggle of us while waiting at the counter.
Finally, another customer got the attention of a staff member and inquired about the food and the long wait.
The staff member asked "did you order at the kiosk?(there was no other option).
Customer responded in the affirmative.
The staff member the asked if she had selected pay at counter option.
Customer responded in the affirmative.
The staff member then said (in a mildly contentious tone)"oh, you have to pay before the order goes in. It says it right here on this sign" and gestures to a beat up old piece of paper taped to the plexiglass in front of the register.
The customer stated "well no one told any of us that".
Another customer chimed in and said "yeah, we have been waiting for 30 min, someone could have said something since there is a gaggle of people here waiting".
