I have 100s of reviews I've done of Asian and sushi restaurants from all across the country. Chicago, San Diego, Miami, you name it i have tried and reveiwed an asian and Spanish restaurant, this is one of the worst I've ever tried. We both ordered chicken teriyaki. This is the WORST example I've ever had of it. The chicken was dry, tasted as if it was prepared the day before, and just had an off flavor. It did not even smell like normal. I also understand the difference between authentically made foods and stuff that has been "Americanized." This did not fall into either spectrum. It is almost like they mix Soy Sauce with something, slap it on some day or two old cooked chicken that hasn't been kept at safe temp, and then hold their hand out for 20 dollars. With the quality here, I would axe the idea of trying any sort of sushi here. Next is the fact that their prices are not accurate online and are grossly off. If I take my time and add up everything, look up the sales tax and do the math, and my total comes to $42.00... but when we pick up the price, magically jumps to $58.00. I have a huge issue with that. With that being said, I would not fault you for ordering their expensive egg rolls. Although very obviously not hand made, they are actually quit good. ANYONE saying this place has good food; is most likely living in the same city they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDecided to order Asian food for dinner, and it's been since pre COVID since we ordered here, and we missed it. We ordered from the online menu, on a Saturday at 5pm, the "KMD-3" Bibimbob (spicy sauce on the side) with Shrimp, "KMD-6" Jab-Chae potatoes noodles with fried Tofu, and "KMD-8" Gal-Bi short beef ribs in sweet Korean BBQ sauce. All dishes were very presentable and as expected like we were in the restaurant (Not like some restaurants that just throw it in the box), And each dish was delicious! My husband doesn't eat Asian food often, but he inhaled his bibimbob. I love fried tofu with noodles, so the firmness of the tofu was perfect and tasty, although I would've liked bigger pieces over small and diced. Our picky eater child was courageous enough to try the noodles and beef, and she liked it but is not yet accustomed to the black pepper (perfect for us adults, though). The dishes pictured I'm sure looked better than when I took them, because I picked up the order about 20 minutes late. The stated cook time was 30 to 40 minutes and I showed up at one hour. For taste and decently priced, abundant food, I rate 5 stars š¤©. Thank you Asian Grill for meeting our expectations- I will continue to support the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot sure how this place can be rated 4 stars. We started going to this restaurant when it originally opened up with a good selection of, both, Korean and Japanese food. After a couple years, the original owner sold it and it may have changed hands a few times since then. My wife and I decided to try it tonight after not eating there for a couple years. The reason we haven't eaten there is the food isn't good and I honestly didn't think it could get worse. It did. It's much worse than I remembered. I ordered Korean Bulgogi, which is usually made from ribeye and then marinated in a Korean BBQ sauce consisting of soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, etc. Here at Asian grill, they just took sirloin, chopped it into stew meat sized bites, cooked it with onions and sprinkled sesame seeds on it. Why even call that Bulgogi? I've had better Korean food from Korean styled TV dinners. Everything we ordered was poorly prepared and they use the cheapest ingredients they can find. This place needs to just go out of business because they don't care what they're serving you.... We'll never eat...
