so Iâm writing this on Monday and this week is finals week at Heidelberg University in Tiffin Ohio in Seneca county The cheddars I went to is in Findlay drive from Tiffin Ohio. A straight shot but 30 minutes. but i digress. do you know how stressful finals week has been because one of my professors doctor Riley has been assigning assignments like crazy even though it is finals week I have not had a chance to eat in about 48 hours. Probably more ethan I am very stressed. but i digress. when I walked into the cheddarâs was very hungry and I ordered chicken the chicken was so good I ate all of the chicken and due to the fact that my body was not used to solid foods I went into a coma. like a literal coma. not a food coma. but i digress. The food was so good I could not stop even though my body knew that I had to. now my issue is they shouldâve known how hungry I was in the state that my body was in Limited of food that I was shouldâve been able to intake. I received so much chicken and inhumane about even. The chicken was so good and they were so much and I could not stop and they shouldâve known that this couldâve killed me and it almost dead but it was really good. but i digress. I was so frail and so weak and had no food in me for 48 hours the last thing I ate was McDonaldâs a Mc chicken it was pretty good and honestly I think my experience it was much better but I was just in a state of total I couldâve died I came into this building limping limping from how much pain I was in from a little food I had in me. I was truly fragile in every sense of the word. my body was very fragile, but I digress. dude to the vigorous schedule of finals at Heidelberg University I had not eating 48 hours. This put my body very fragile state. While I do not blame the workers for not knowing this I think my finger is shaking with some sort of hint to be absolutely fragile state my body was in. they shouldâve known about my state and provided me with some assistance, they shouldâve assumed i needed my food gone through a blender because i want able to eat solid food. in short, so good and be careful what...
Read moreLast night my wife and I decided to eat at cheddars with our best friend. We were told to sit wherever and were not given menus. The server took our drink orders but did not give us menus until we asked, about 10 mins later. Then a belligerently drunk man and his 12 yo kid show up and sit at the bar. The man is being loud and disruptive. He asks the bartender if he can have the cork from a bottle and she says if he finishes it. So the bartender continues to serve this man 4 shots of alcohol. Making him progressively more drunk and loud. Meanwhile our order took almost half an hour for three salads, and when they arrived they werenât correct. One salad was massive compared to the two tiny salads (all house salads as a side) and two didnât have croutons while one had a double amount. After that our server comes and clarified our order, which took almost an hour and was also wrong when it arrived. As weâre waiting for our order to be corrected, the drunk man at the bar started playing music on his phone out loud and him and his son were banging on the bar with their fists. No one said anything to him about being loud and disruptive. Not did they when he started telling racial âjokesâ. The bartender continued to serve him alcohol. I said something to the man and he started yelling to which I yelled back. Shortly after he was getting ready to leave, as were we. Our machine didnât have paper in it so we were forced to stick around. The man then started waving his arms around with his middle fingers up directly in front of the hostess stand. After he left the host and the bartender proceeded to make dirty faces and whisper in the corner looking directly at me. The service was terrible, our orders were wrong in multiple different ways, and the atmosphere was made terrible by the drunk man and the bartender who kept serving him. Cheddars used to be one of my favorites but I havenât had a good dining experience in over a year and last night will be the last time...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. Just got the family bundle at curbside. Several issues. Supposed to have 16 tenders, got 15. Supposed to have 6 croissants, got 5. The sauce for the tenders was missing. Side ceasar salad ordered, no croutons or cheese that it was supposed to come with, just wet lettuce. Family size order of broccoli casserole missing from order.
I usually just let these things go, but tonight, I called, assuming incorrectly apparently, that a manager may want to know since there were so many issues. I called and stated that I had an issue with a curbside pickup and could I speak with a manager. They put me on hold. 11 minutes later someone picked up and I told them all the issues and they said 'oh, let me get you a manager', whom I assumed I was speaking to, since I had asked for one. At 15 minutes on hold another person came on and so I told her my issues... again, assuming this time it was a manager, but she very rudely asked me if I wanted to speak to a manager. I told her that I had been on hold for a manager for 15 minutes and assumed she was who I had been waiting for, and her response was 'well, were really busy and we cannot just drop everything we're doing just because you wanna call in to complain'... yes, these are the exact words she said to me. I asked her if she was seriously coming to me like that when I was calling with a legitimate concern to which she replied very snidely 'look, I'm just trying to figure out what you want..do you want a manager or not?'. At this point I stated that I did not, and hung up to continue to salvage what was left of dinner with my family. Disgusting service....
