Picked up my food to go about 25 min to close. I was greeted with a smile and immediately welcomed to the family, several times which I loved! We ordered the chicken chunks and Belgian waffles, loaded fries appetizer, and a 1/2 pound Jack B burger. This more than fed my family of 4, which I didn’t initially intend for. The food was absolutely fresh, crispy chicken chunks with thick delicious waffles powdered with sugar. The butter was already melted pre packaged. Loaded fries were bacon 🥓 melted cheese 🧀 green onions. Huge portion, that was fresh again and we couldn’t finish it all. Finally my 1/2 pound burger 🍔 🧀, 🥓, 🍳, jalapeño 🌶️, was cooked perfectly to my taste. This is my new favorite cheeseburger in town. Great presentation, food prep was packed perfect, with ALL condiments and silverware. I can’t say enough about this that I’m writing maybe 🤔 my first Google review. Either way it was deserving enough to take a break from stuffing my face with 🍗 and 🧇 all the fries to write this review. At the end of this all I realized I forgot to tip, I ordered online. Was just passing through back to Dayton and stopped to get food. Originally went to one place but as soon as I got there, it found Jack B’s on Apple Maps. After seeing such great reviews, I decided to leave where I was and go there. Best decision I could have made. This place exceeded the reviews online. Immediately was greeted with a smile and a hello followed by asking if I had been in before. After letting her know it was my first time, Sherrie came around the counter and took me to the menu and gave me a thorough rundown of the menu. I went with the the Jack B burger and the chicken chunk and fry combo. The food food was fresh and fantastic. The portions were very generous for the price! What stood out even more than the great food was the customer service. I haven’t felt that welcomed and appreciated for stopping in a restaurant in a long long time. I tried Jack Bs Takeout today on the way to the park. I got a single burger with cheese (extra cheese), bacon and an egg. It was cooked juicy and no pink. It was very good. I got two orders of Onion Rings. My family loved it. I also got the loaded fries for my daughter. She loved them, pleasantly surprised at how the green onions added to the dish. There was plenty of ketchup packets also. But she was disappointed by the standard BBQ sauce on her chicken chunks and didn’t eat much. But I think for us the spring roll like Mozzarella Sticks were the most disappointing. I only took two bites. I guess I prefer a more traditional version. They are quite large and the marinara potions are generous. Lastly the service was great and very friendly. I am using a walker to get around on my broken ankle and they took one look at me and said to get back in the car and they will bring it out to me. Wonderful...
