BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Findlay

I went to this location for breakfast and to work for a couple of hours, since the local coffee shop down the street shut down. To start, it was a little confusing since the register to order in tucked in the corner and kind of hidden when you walk in. Luckily the staff was friendly enough to guide me to the correct counter. I ordered a matcha latte and an everything bagel with cream cheese. Both were good, although the matcha was nothing special and the ratio of tea to milk seemed a little off...either way it wasn't too bad. I set up my work area in one of their half booths that features booth seating and a desk. I thought it was perfect to work at and take a video call. unfortunately, the ground beneath the seat was super sticky and gross (and as i looked around, the rest of the floors could have used a nice cleaning). It was so sticky my shoe was stuck and after I left I had to clean the bottom of my shoes. Also, the booth is a nice feature BUT whoever designed it was a giant. I am 6'0 and the desk height was so tall and made it very uncomfortable to work. I would say staff was friendly so 5 stars there, food was meh so maybe 3 stars there, environment was like 1 star. The place has potential to be a nice atmosphere...with Starbucks opening next door, it might help them to make some...

I'm a regular at this store and my wife got a job here "for fun" - She didn't need the job but wanted to learn to make drinks and we love / get drinks all the time.

This Biggby is poorly managed. Understaffed because of the turnover from poor culture that this place has (extremely rushed, overworked, low empathy for employees, no sympathy or care or understanding why people are leaving). This turnover is for new hires and managers, currently as I'm writing this the shop doesn't even have a manager, the owner is filling in. The owner could preempt this problem by better understanding what the employees are going through but is having to close shop like many other minimum wage jobs currently because the working/staffing conditions are too low for even a HS or college student.

The workers are good people, the drinks are good. The owner isn't and I'm writing my review for them to see, for biggby the company to maybe see, but for sure you the customer to see that you shouldn't support this...

I ordered a pretty simple drink. Just a frozen espresso latte with ONE pump of mocha syrup and chocolate chips blended in. What they gave me was basically their frozen mocha latte, which was INCREDIBLY sweet and had whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top. I order this same thing all the time through door dash and since they stopped delivering through door dash I decided to stop by on my lunch. It was so overwhelming in sugar I took 2-3 sips of it and gave it to my fiancé who loves sugary beverages. Super disappointed spending almost $7 on a coffee to not even be able...
