I had previously submitted this review to Jimmy John's customer service site on the bottom of the receipt and even called their hotline. Zero response. I've decided to leave my experience here in case it happens to someone else.
I used this Jimmy John's on April 5, 2024 in Findlay, OH - 536 W Trenton Ave, Findlay, OH.
I was recently gifted a $50 Jimmy John's gift card. I also have the original purchase receipt when gifted. So I knew it had $50 on it.
I handed the drive-thru cashier (Adaisha) my gift card as my total was $9.38. I noticed she did not give my gift card back and only handed me my order. Figuring it was an honest mistake, I asked if I could have my gift card.
She shook her head and stated there was no money left on the card. That my total of $9.38 was the exact amount left on the card. This did not make any sense whatsoever.
I kindly asked if I could have my gift card back. She again said there wasn't any money left on it. Confused, I asked if I could have my gift card anyway, and she shook her head and motioned with her hands. Stating no, the gift card was completely done, nothing was left on it.
Still confused, I once again kindly asked if I could get my gift card back. She sighed and said, that yes, she could give it back. She looked irritated and pissed.
I come home and look up my gift card balance. Sure enough, there was $40.62 left on my card.
I am incredibly upset to know that a Jimmy John's cashier planned to keep my gift card of $40.62. She had not inserted it into the POS cashier system as I normally see workers do. She had placed it on the counter, just off to the side. I do not believe this was a mistake. I cannot believe that I had to ask 4 times to get my gift card back.

Read moreFirst off, I love your subs. Now for the bad, I went after work and ordered 2 - 30 party platters for the next day. I said I'd be in at 12:30 to pick them up. I showed up at 12:10, said I was early and figured they weren't done. Left for 20 minutes, came back at 12:32 and was told they hadn't even started them yet because they got busy. Waited 15 more minutes and still wasn't done. Talked to manager and he was rude when I asked why they weren't done when it clearly stated on my receipt 12:30. I understand you get busy, but 4 associates working line, 2 on register, 1 on drive thru, 1 slicing meat and manager. Why didn't 1 of them at least start on my order? When I finally got my order, 30 minutes after, the manager handed me the bag and walked away. No thank you or sorry you had to wait. Rude, rude, rude. If you can't handle frustration in the work place, you shouldn't be in a service type job!!!!!! Will take my catering business to the Tiffin avenue Jimmy John's because of this manager. Read moreThe most boring sub I've had in a long time. I ordered the number 4 Turkey Tom sandwich which does not come with cheese,if you order cheese they charge you $0.75. The bread is usually hard and stale as though it's been in someone's freezer for a long time. Turkey has very little flavor, the cheese that they charge me for has very little flavor. Even the Mayo is weak. The only plus is that they did slap my sandwich together in around 30 seconds, it seems as though they are purchasing the cheapest available garbage and putting out a tasteless crap sandwich. not to mention you cannot get a hot sub here or a decent side.
