D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches — Restaurant in Fitchburg

I enjoyed dining in at this location. The kitchen is a open concept and I could see that it was kept very clean. In fact the whole dining area was very clean and nicely appointed, a relaxing atmosphere.

One of the most important things I look for when I do a review of a business giving a service to the public is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and like the rest of the restaurant the bathrooms did not fail to meet expectations, they were very clean and well kept.

Another important matter is the staff in their attitude in serving the public. I found the staff here to be very friendly and I would recommend this location when you're searching for a place to eat.

Of course the food was very good. They have a wide variety of menu items to choose from I think most people are sure to be satisfied with whatever they order.

Some staff is not interested, or bored out of their mind on this Monday night holiday. Only one other couple in resturant, and still have extended wait. Get asked after I ordered twice if I was ready to order. Even the girl who took my order, who was cooking it, told someone else to take my order. After I pointed out 2nd time I had ordered, she says oh yeah, this must be yours. She then wraps up a sand watch puts it in bag with my wife's salad. Hands it to me. As I start to walk away, she stops me, said I got the wrong sandwich. Switched it, I went to a table, opened the sandwich, she pop's out side kitchen door, says WAIT!, This is your sandwich and brings me finally the right one. Yikes, the food was fine (surprisingly tonight) but execution of delivery of order left to be desired. I'm not a always negative reviewer, but this was not what I or anyone...

Can we please fix the ordering process here? It's so backwards. Every other location I go to I order at the register, it generates a ticket, I pay, and then wait for my name to be called to pick up my sandwich. Here I order my sandwich away from the register, somebody else starts to make it and asks me to repeat the order because they didn't take it then I have to go to the register and repeat my order AGAIN in order to pay. Then the grill guy shouts out "did you want mayo on this?" so I'm forced to repeat my order for a fifth time. Really, take the order at the register at the same time I pay for it, this way it generates a ticket with all the instructions on it, no need to ask me to trust myself five times and it might come out right more than half the...
