Tres Amigos - Fourth Street Dine-in & Take-out — Restaurant in Flagstaff

I went to the 4th Street truck for the first time this Saturday with a friend who had been there many times and raved about it. It did not disappoint. I got the Mayor and it was one of the best burritos I have every had. All ingredients were prepared perfectly. The asada had a great char on it and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Everything had great seasoning and the combination of flavors was forced me to finish the entire thing in one sitting despite being full after eating only half (it is a good sized burrito). I will definitely be going back often and can't believe it took me so long to try it out. It may be a food truck, but the food was better than any other Mexican...

Wow. This place is amazing. Food is on point and the guys working here are super friendly and personable. Even when Mexican restaurants are highly rated I’m usually disappointed by the food. Its the same cookie cutter food, not very flavorful with cheap tasting ingredients. The rare times I find a higher quality Mexican food, you are often paying a lot of money for a small portion size. Tres amigos has the perfect combo. You get a very sizable portion of great tasting food. I happened to stumble upon these guys, but I look forward to going back numerous times and trying different dishes. Truly a 5 star...

True carne asada is grilled over an open flame, is tender, has the right amount of fat, and is seasoned usually with ONLY salt (because good quality beef doesn’t need much seasoning or spices). I think this is impossible to find in Flagstaff. I’d stick to the pastor or seafood at this place. Carne asada was over-seasoned pan fried beef. Rice and beans in a burrito not my thing, very Americanized style. The search for great Northern style Mexican food in Flagstaff continues… Phoenix and Tucson have better...
