Dunkin' — Restaurant in Flat Rock

There are/were Fruit Flies on/ in / around donut display case. Large fruit flies landing on uncovered donuts in display case that are served to customers. I came in specifically for donuts and was quickly nauseated at the sight of numerous germ/disease spreading pests flying around not only the case but the entire store. There was trash on floors and trash on empty tables with clearly unwiped surfaces.. This location just recently opened..in a newly built building..there shouldn't be a pest problem this soon unless the cleanliness and sanitization procedures are not being diligently executed. Sort of disappointing considering this location had immediate potential for numerous reasons. But once you visit a food and beverage establishment with what seems to be absolutely no care for cleanliness/sanitation or food health practices, it makes you question if you can trust going back without a risk of getting sick from contaminated product... I left without making a purchase due to fear of contaminated food. Hesitant to return. Would only be my absolute last resort for strictly coffee only. I refuse to purchase food knowing what I witnessed inside the store. If you don't mind flies and fruit flies then you shouldn't have an issue with this location.

Edit: I have since returned recently and they have seriously improved on all the issues I relayed in my initial review! Leaving old review up to show that I personally witnessed how much they have absolutely none of the issues listed above anymore. Great job, Dunkin of Flat Rock for taking your customer's input and implementing much needed...

I went to the drive thru, the menu was down but I already knew what I wanted. I go to dunkin very often in other cities. I get to the window and he tells me my normally $3 medium iced coffee, is $5. I don’t question I just pay the $5. I get handed a black iced coffee. I ordered a caramel iced coffee with oat milk. I knew it didn’t look right but I didn’t want to complain. I leave but then I’m thinking I just paid $5 for this coffee so I go inside with the coffee and I’m standing there for at least 10 minutes while everyone is staring at me. They are on their phones and swearing at each other. I finally get helped and he asked me what was wrong. I told him that it wasn’t made right. He continues to call over the worker that made it and they laugh about it. He asks me how much oat milk i wanted in in and i told him whatever was standard because there is none in there in the first place. He looks like I just asked for him to do the most complicated thing and looks as if he doesn’t want to do it. He remakes it and hands it to me and I am standing waiting for a straw and he looks at me so I asked for a straw and he didn’t say a word and just pointed to the other side of the store to where there were. ok i hate leaving reviews on businesses but this place is bad!! I’ve been here 2 times and both times we were the only car in the drive thru and the lady said we could start ordering so we started ordering but she didn’t respond or ask what size or anything like that, she took a long time to respond she finally did after we said “you there?” “hello?” like 10 times then when we go to the window she took forever to get the food one girl was on her phone and this other girl was rushing to get all of our food and drinks done, they gave us most of our food and said “have a nice day” but they forgot my Oreo drink thing so we said something and they said “oh yea” the second time i went they a couple weeks later we where at the window and she have us most of our food but once again not my drink and we thought we were just waiting for it to get finished we sat there for atleast 5 mins and the lady said “why are you still here” first of all she didn’t even say bye or any to us and second she was trying to argue over my order claiming i didn’t order a drink and then i showed her the receipt for my drink and she...
