Work on Customer Service!
I am weekly customer for years (patiently waited for their reopening), and great tipper on top of automatic 18% gratuity added for 6 people at at table (even when there is not six of us). I'm a regular I can say! And this is a first time that I ever sent a drink back because it wasn't good to ME! When I ordered, my waitress told me the two ingredients and I thought ok that sounds about right. My waitress, unbeknown to me at the time was the shift manager, when I received my drink I stated it didn't look right, she said it was the right drink I ordered. After tasting it, I told her I didn't like it and I don't want it. I asked if it could be exchanged. She was snippy as I handed her my drink she grabbed the drink and told me the rules about no refunds and exchanges. I was frustrated not rude at all. Tried to explain all I want is another drink, to replace this one even at a reduced cost. Nope! She got a little more snippy. And her attitude made me not EVER want to return. But me being me I thought let me speak with a manager. The owner walks by, and she races to tell him which I thought was good. Nope! He came over and asked about the drink and repeated the policy. And said he would check to see if the drink was made right. I too told him I didn't like it and I don't want it. He took the drink to the bar and verified it was made right, and came back saying it was made right and each and ever time I tried to speak he over talked me. I told the waitress and owner I understand your policy multiple times but it was clear they were more focused on telling me what their policy was instead of trying to hear me or fix my problem.
This was very disheartening, as a regular customer I was outright disappointed! They owe me nothing because of their policy but being courtesy is free and listening to the customer shows respect that you are concerned about their issue. I was given neither! So I sucked it up and tried to have a good time but moments later when our waitress brought our bills and only one person request their bill, needless to say I didn't feel welcome anymore! After a comment was made she only gave the bill to the one person.
Hopefully this is and first and last experience! It was really sad because I know I am a good customer, just wasn't treated...
Read morethere waitress we got was extremely rude. She offered no solution to the problem at hand. I had been there since 3pm with a group of friends. They where about to leave so I stated to the group that was leaving that I had a another of group of 15 coming in. they knew I was keeping the table and when they got back we would move, if we where still there or the split the table, they where fine with that. When my other party arrived. The waitress stop serving one end of the table. She stated that the group before us were going to be back in a half an hour. She refused to serve the table. I tried explaing to her that they would not be back for a while and we would move when they got back. She got in face and stated that she would not be serving us. She then sent another waitress to tell us to move. I explain the situation and asked for a manager. They refused to send a manager. This is when I started to get upset with this. I stated I would call my friends from before and see when they would be coming back as the waitress past by she had rudely stated she would call them also. It had been 45 minutes since the other party had left. I ended up texting them. They where not sure when they would be back but asked to save 6 seats. She rudely stated that the other group had been coming since day one and they deserved this table and handed me my bill. I stated to her I’m glad you have money to burn. My whole table did not leave her a tip and we walked out. If she would have offered a another table that was big enough for us, we would have stayed. All the waitress did was offer attitude and feeling she really did care about handling this situation. We could of got better service at home and better food. It was stated that I was not longer allowed at foutches. Lady, you could not pay me to go back. Thank you! Montrose pub for coming to our rescue...
Read moreWhen we sat at our table the waitress was far from pleasant, acted like we were an inconvenience for sitting in her section. We ordered a round of drinks and waters as well. Had to ask 4x for waters and on the 4th ask it took her over a half hour to receive them mind you she was only assisting 2 other tables. We were going to order another round of drinks but the waitress wouldn't acknowledge us walked passed our table and looked right at us at least 5x. After finally seeing our waitress and interrupting her 20 min chat session with some people she knew sitting at the bar she took our drink order. It only took her 30 min to bring them after going up to the bar to say something she finally ran over to put cups up for our drinks to be made. When speaking to the bartender that was the "manager" She was saying she was "busy" if busy means sitting at the bar talking. At this point we were more of an inconvenience to them we asked for our bill to go else where since it was an inconvenience to order food. When getting our bill we noticed an 18% gratuity charge!! For What?? We seen on the menu that it would be for party's over 5 people. We had 4. We asked to speak to the manager to see what we were miss understanding, the "manager" was the bar tender and refused to come over and speak to us. This used to be our go to spot for family party's and to go to for lunch at work. But sadly we will never be back again and I will have my workers take our lunch...
