Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Flint Charter Township

My Husband and I were in town for an appointment and decided to try Long John Silvers after years of not having it. We don’t have one in our town as well as the last time we went years ago it seemed over priced and not what I remember it once was. This time I really was looking forward to the tarter sauce and the malt vinegar! We made sure to ask specifically for them, then asked again if they were in the bag when it was handed to us. By the time I got to the bottom of the bag to find that there was indeed no malt vinegar and only 2 tarter sauces for 4 fish,2chicken, 8 hush puppies and shrimp my husband was two blocks away. Yes, it did come with lots of ketchup and 2 cocktail sauces. Why did he drive off? Because he’s a man..? He did have to turn around and go inside for the malt vinegar and tarter sauce. The meal would have been pointless without it of course. He had to go ask at the counter, must be there were other 40 something year old women who wanted some malt vinegar too and they had to put it behind counter to keep it safe from our clutches.

My Husbands comment was that it was difficult to tell the fish from the chicken…. Looked the same, same texture, almost tasted the same. Probably will try again in another few years from now. To...

I placed my order online. Went to the drive up and was told I had to come inside because they don't pack the order until I get there so it will be hot. Don't know why I couldn't have waited in the drive thru. Went inside and was shocked at how dirty it was in there. This is a NEW store. The girl packing my order had no hair net hair just hanging out. She packed my food so sloppy and then a young guy came out of the bathroom and I thought he was homeless. Sweatpants with several rips in them and a hoodie with dried paint all over it and in his hair the two started joking around and laughs. I asked the girl " what do I do" she said "you can wait" very snotty. I asked if that was my food sitting there and she said yes. I said so much for being hot food. She literally threw my food in the bag. I thought for sure the cole slaw would open up. They were the rudest employees I have ever encountered. AND CLEAN THE PLACE UP and maybe wear uniforms and hair nets to work. I'm not sure if the boy was just her friend and not employed. But he was in the kitchen with her. Terrible. I loved Long John Silvers....

This specific location on linden road in flint is now the worst location I’ve been too. Past few times my experience was horrible with atrocious customer service and always messing up my orders, I ordered two 2pc fish baskets and a medium sized drink, and they only had one in the bag. I went back inside and told them I ordered 2 baskets, not just one, and they acknowledged that I ordered 2 but did not have the decency or manners to apologize for forgetting. I arrived 5 minutes after my pick up time and my pop was all warm and melted with no ice but I just dumped it and got a refill and I would’ve let the attitude and crappy service slide but by the time I got home the food was cold in both baskets and green beans were all mushed and cold. This is completely unacceptable service. The same crew working there every time I experience horrible service with everyone having horrible attitudes. Until y’all replace that crew working at that location, I will NOT be going back and spending my money...
