Stopped in for what I thought would be a nice meal based on the reviews and I was sorely disappointed. We got in and seated quickly and got chips and salsa while we waited to order. Once our order was taken (we got 2 ground beef taco salads that was it) we waited about 40 mins for our food to arrive at the table. Which would have been fine with me but we have several couples walk in way after we had been seated and everyone of them got their food before we got our salads (which all they had to cook was the beef) when I order I had told the server no beans. When my food arrived 40mins later it had beans on the plate. When I brought up to the servers attention he was extreamly apologetic and he took my plate back. Not even a minute goes by and what I’m assuming is the boss come out very rude arguing with me telling me to show him where the beans are after he removed the one I pulled out to show I didn’t even get any words out before he was losing his temper and telling me I’m wrong and that’s just beef. Well the bean was a pinkish color to if that was the beef then it wasn’t even cooked thoroughly. At this point I’m very upset I tell him to take it away and I’m not eating it. I said I would pay for it just take it away. You could tell the young server we started with felt bad and want to help but his boss wouldn’t let him. this is a GREAT restaurant for a quick tasty quiet meal. great menu with accommodating made easy on my picky americanized substitutions. I came in an hour before closing and it was extremely clean floor to ceiling, well layed out for privacy when eating yet still in sight of service staff. The entire staff was EXTREMELY friendly. The enchiladas combo plate was EXCELLENT and my Chips and Salsa were ALSO EXCELLENT, hot chips, fresh large serving of amazing mild salsa. Prices are VERY AFFORDABLE AND REASONABLE. My server was young and very friendly and helpful and the staff was sure to make me feel NOT RUSHED to eat. I always try to pay my tab quick and get Togo boxes so when I'm ready i can go and they were VERY accommodating. I was THANKED for coming and welcomed back soon... The Carne Asada Quesadilla was delicious and perfectly seasoned with tons of flavor without heat. The quesadilla stayed crisp and the guacamole served with it was very fresh and tasty. It was a very hearty portion of good meat. Fantastic! The Huarache Plate Special my husband had was unique here on the Oregon Coast and filled with flavor. Filled with steak, chicken, chorizo, mushrooms and vegetables he was impressed and well fed. Again, a generous portion and a reasonable price for this area. Plus, the salsa served with chips as an opener was so tasty we had seconds of both. I can see why the salsa is award winning.
