Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Florence

Schlotzsky's has always been a favorite of mine. And still could be with some work. I will start with the basics. It is difficult to enjoy your food when your surroundings are not clean. Tables, chairs, floor, and walls were rather dingy. The drink & condiment area were sticky. Everything was a mess. I realize the building is not brand new but that is no excuse for the how unclean the whole place looks. Next up is the menus. The menu hanging up behind cashier's head is not in good shape. But what really bothers me is that everything offered is not in one spot. Big menu on wall. More offers to right hanging on wall. And then after I ordered I saw another menu to my left. I saw something on the drive-thru menu that looked appetizing but inside when I ordered I was not able to figure out what it was that I saw on drive-thru menu outside. Anyway, food offerings need to be in one place so customers can see everything and then choose. After all that the food was okay. If I could give this location in Florence SC a negative rating, I would. I ordered a med chicken fiesta meal and my guy ordered a plain turkey bacon....only turkey lettuce and bacon....we specified this specifically to the girl taking the order. Sat down and waited at least 40 minutes for our food....and people who had ordered in the drive thru were coming inside and waiting...girl bringing out the food kept wandering around with trays trying to find where the food belonged. I finally went and stood by kitchen, along with many others, waiting for our food....several orders just sitting in the window with no numbers being called out...and the same girl wandering around with food was the one running the register, taking orders....so my food finally came up and I grabbed it and went back to the table. His sandwich had tomato which it wasn't supposed to...thank God no mayo cause he hates it. My sandwich had a tiny bit of meat in the middle and the bread was different than I remember....and we paid over $30. I will NEVER go to this location EVER again. I was so excited to eat there because it had been years since I had seen a Schlotzsky's.....VERY...

First and worst experience at this place from the register to the food. I ordered a SMALL drink, received and paid for large. Ordered a Caesar Side Salad and kept being asked if I mean the “Chicken Caesar Salad” and kept having to point at the menu on the “Sides” section explaining I wanted the SIDE “Caesar Salad”. The cashier said they only have a side garden salad. So I ordered that instead. Got charged and received the FULL SIZE garden salad. And got charged for a tomato soup that I told them to remove because the cashier said they couldn’t make it with no cheese. Ordered 2 pizzas, which both came out with COLD veggies and UNMELTED cheese. Oh! And a cup with hair and dirt inside. Disgusting! Ordered a FIFTEEN DOLLAR veggie sandwich because we added avocado for THREE EXTRA DOLLARS. Well, only got about a QUATER SIZE of the avocado on the sandwich… this was a $75 order total!!
