Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Florence

I hate having to give poor reviews. I will preface by saying that I have not been to a Sonic in years and that none of the issues had anything to do with the staff. The staff were all courteous, friendly, responsive and got my order to me in a reasonable time and it was all correct. Actually there was a little bonus food in the bag too which I always appreciate. My problems with this visit start with the price and end with the taste. This was definitely the most expensive fast food meal I've had in years by a long shot. Which is not cool given the quality of the food. If it was exceptionally delicious I would have glossed over the cost but it was some of the most tasteless food I've had. The part of the burger with the most flavor was the tomato... generally one of the blandest parts on a normal burger, especially fast food. The popcorn chicken and the mozzarella sticks had a taste that reminded me of drinking out of plastic bottles as did the master blast shake. Tater-tots were in top form though. Talking about all these foods is making my mouth water but I don't want to get them from...

We ordered a few items. A kids meal, Some chili cheese tots and a sonic blast. We waited for fifteen minutes before the girl came out. What she gave us was not what we ordered, but the receipt was right. The girl went back. Another ten minutes later she came back. Still wasn't the right food. She told Is she's not the one who took our order. I politely told her they should communicate better. But it wasn't the girl that rang us up Bc the receipt was correct. The girl bringing the food out must have not been all there that day bc she could not get our simple order right when allShe had toDoWas read the receipt.' We usually enjoy Sonic, but that was not a pleasant experience. In the end we did not Get what we ordered. My husband and hungry child no longer cares. We were all Done with Sonic at that point. Worst sonic I have ever been to. 2 minutes at the speaker, took my payment at the window instantly, and then I sat there at the window for 13 minutes. With no explanation. She gives me my food with all the happiness in the world like this was normal. I had two Texas toaster combos with med. French vanilla iced coffees.... not exactly the roughest meal to make in the world. When I got home, we both had a French vanilla something... zero coffee taste, my sandwich had 1 piece of bacon, and both of our tots were way over cooked. I wouldn't even waste time writing a review normally on a local fast food restaurant, but.... this is the 2nd time I have had a poor experience. The first visit I had, I dealt with a lady who didn't know what the difference was between a medium coke and a medium Coca-Cola. I wish I was joking, but I'm not. This incident this time was Sunday morning at 940. It wasn't busy. Definitely not worth the hassle........
