If I could just post feedback without having to rate this establishment I would! The Cookout location in Florence South Carolina just does not care about the presentation of the food nor the customer service. It’s like every time I go there something is incorrect. The cooks obviously can’t read checks/tickets correctly because I get the same thing every time and I ask for extra pickles every time! I hate to tell y’all but one sliced pickle cut in half is not extra by no means. And don’t ask for extra sauces because it’s like every time we do we get questioned about it. I mean the cashier tonight said “y’all must eat the sauces with your fingers” and when addressed to the assistant store manager Dustin (actually knew who I was because he recently resolved an issue for me after Christmas) said “I don’t think she meant any harm by it because she’s one of my best cashiers” . If it’s your employees business why we can’t use just one sauce for TWO cookout trays then if you consider her one of your “best cashiers” then y’all seriously need to do better. I’m a server myself, and when my guest ask for extra sauces I don’t say something out of the way I do my job and don’t ask questions and just give it to them without hesitation, because frankly it’s none of my business. Read moreWe drove to Florence, SC from upstate NY for the night to visit my Nonnies grave site as she recently passed away in May, we got to our hotel late and decided on the cookout since it is not something we have in our town at home.
This was our very first experience at the cookout and will be our last.
We were anything but greeted at the drive thru speaker, when we asked questions about the menu the lady brushed off followed by a ‘anything else’ but I let that slide. It wasn’t until I asked what non carbonated drinks they had and her response was ‘water’.
We then pull up to the window to pay and get our food and the staff is just shoving the food and drinks out the window rushing us away which became suspicious, so we started checking the bags at the window to make sure everything was in them, when they noticed we were doing that they opened the window and said ‘can you pull up to do that so we can server the customers behind you?’ MIND YOU THERE WAS NOT ONE CUSTOMER BEHIND US AND 2 OF OUR DRINKS WERE MISSING. and the food to top it off looked anything but edible.
The only reason I gave 2 stars was GEORGIA who deserves a promotion and to maybe teach the other staff proper customer service. She ran outside with our missing drinks and apologized for the poor customer service.

Read moreSo 3 stars is because the gentleman, Jon was super nice and helpful even letting us add to are already large order at the window. The food was relatively good. However, we were missing the scoop of BBQ we paid for, so we ended up waiting in the drive thru for 24 minutes to get what we were missing. Jon at the window was nice, however the Lady that came to the window had a NASTY attitude, tried to argue the manager made that plate and it was there however myself and other adults in the car that checked the order ALL SAW IT WAS NOT THERE. We found her rude and nasty attitude , her trying to argue with the customer all very upsetting and frustrating. Poor customer service. I know they were busy but we waited 15mins to get to the window the first time , pulled up to check the food and when something was missing waited another 24 mins in line to get it fixed just to be met with this ladys rudeness. If it wasn't for her I'd have gave more stars. She really ruined it, and I used up 7 miles worth of gas in this line so much so long. Won't be going...
