I went with my boyfriend (we made a reservation for the Victorian afternoon tea). It was a really cool experience. If you plan to go here often however, I would probably just order something from the menu or get the traditional tea, as it has less courses. We were not able to finish all of our food, especially since it is bread heavy, and you have a lot of time within each course, so you really do get full pretty easily. I would definitely recommend trying one of the afternoon teas for the experience, but it is not something I would do every time I went there. If you are a picky eater you will most likely not like a lot of the foods offered in the afternoon teas. It started off with chicken salad sandwiches and pimento sandwiches with cucumber bites. Usually I do not like chicken salad but this one did not have onions and was pretty simple with just the chicken and boiled egg. Then we had scones, which were really good, but I was not able to finish it. The fruit was just some strawberries, grapes, kiwi, watermelon, and two slices of cheese, and you do not get very much of any of it either. The strawberries we got had some mold spots on them but we just did not touch them. The mini quiche are absolutely tiny. About the shape of mini muffins. We got two different types. A bacon gouda one with onions and a spinach one. They were pretty good though. My favorite part was the cranberry orange mini bread. It was so cute and it tasted SO GOOD. It is a little on the sweet side though. The dessert tray came with a lemon pastry type dessert, a small square of red velvet, and a little mini chocolate coffee whipped cream pastry. They tasted about standard. Not like it was phenomenal or anything. The people there were very nice! Overall: not somewhere I would come very often, just once or twice with friends or family to have a cute experience and take some cool photos.

Love Laurie who is the owner of the restaurant. She is very friendly and professional. This restaurant is my go-to-lunch-in place in Florence in between work to relieve my stress and my hunger. They have great selection of teas. One of my favorites is Holiday dream tea. I love their beef bleu sandwich and their tuna puff sandwich. I am hooked on these 2! Of course you cannot leave without having their signature scones - my favorite is the pecan scone. Uff! Everything is made with love in this restaurant with great ambiance, antique museum decor and soothing music. The staff are sweet and friendly. I have visited this spot about 20 times already in the last 9 months. In Florence, this is another hidden gem of the city. Keep up the standards and quality! ❤️

I loved this place- from the pink and vibrant exterior to the interior signs and decorations. Your eyes will not get bored. I didn’t want to sit in a packed place to have a quick lunch and get some work done. The food combinations seemed great. I am not a huge dessert person but they said they bake the scones when you order them- who can say no to that? I didn’t and I enjoyed it. Great lemon curd and cream cheese combination served to enhance. Delicious. Keep returning and love it as much every time!

Literally my favorite place on this planet. I grew up going here and will never stop. Like legitimately my moms baby shower was here, it was meant to be. The food is absolutely amazing, and I am especially fond of their menu option for picky eaters. As someone who’s grown up a picky eater due to being on the spectrum, it’s just so nice that they’re accommodating and offer to make simple stuff upon request. As for their on menu items, I am OBSESSED with their shepherds pie. It is ambrosia itself, so delicious. The teas themselves are exceptional. They offer a variety of hot and iced teas, (I personally recommend trying the strawberry iced tea, it’s to die for!!!) Both the food and drinks are also beautifully placed before you, the atmosphere is amazing, and it doesn’t just stop with the food. The DECOR!!! It is enough for any little girl or geriatric lady to be shaking in their boots. It makes me feel like a little lady in waiting, sipping on my earl grey and gossiping about the local bachelor that just moved to town. There’s tons of teacups and pots, all with unique themes. There’s one with a turtle on the lid that is genuinely the cutest thing ever. There’s also an array of little trinkets and Knick knacks, as well as fancy little hats for kids (or adult children like myself) to wear during scheduled parties. The staff is SO kind, Lori, the owner, especially included. Also, as someone who has catered with them before, their catering is absolutely elite. The customer service is impeccable and the desserts and foods they offer are so timely brought. Everyone is just precious, and I love that I’ve grown along with the business. If you want an elegant, relaxing, and beautifully magical experience, go here!!!

(Also Lori if you are seeing this I might or might not have made a storytime tiktok that went a little viral about the period party my mom threw me here when I started mine, so if anyone says they came from “the period tiktok” I am so sorry 😭 you deserved a non-menstruation...
