I wasn’t even going to write a review but after reading the one from 5 days ago I see that this was not an isolated incident… my friend in I came in here and tried to order at the counter and the lady at the register told us we need to sit and be waited on. There was only us and one other table in the building. We sat there for over 30 minutes (even put parking meters had expired) as practically every employee in the building walked by us and said nothing. Is wasn’t until they made a brownie Sunday for themselves to all eat that they realized us staring at them while eating it. The lady finally came over and we ordered 2 of the “oh my gosh” Sunday’s that are supposed to come with a brownie. The lady came back and told us they were out of brownies. Read moreThis was a "memory lane" visit for my mom and aunt. They remember growing up in this area and getting cones here as children. Mom even remembers visiting here with her parents and her daddy hitching up the mules that pulled their wagon just down the street. The menu is simple but filling, I recommend the cheese and pimento grilled sandwich, yumm. But seriously, the ice cream . . . this is what we come to Trowbridge for! We would have chili dogs, potato chips, Cokes and for dessert, orange pineapple in a stainless dish with a paper insert for the ice cream. Being a child just a few years old, I thought it was something because the ice cream server was almost as tall as I was. Bahahaha.
