Went to Argentos in Port Richey for my husband's birthday. Had family come from over 40 minutes away. From the time we checked in at around 4:50 if not a little earlier. We waited in the front for about 25 minutes, granted we had to change from a 3 top to a 6 top. We still waited about another half hour. Finally got seated, got our salads and my husband's very waterery Pasta Fajou and our daughters Mozzarella sticks and Mussels in Garlic sauce which was very watered down, you couldn't hardly even taste any Garlic. The server kept asking if we wanted or needed anything else? We said no. My daughter asked for her bill, altshe still had to wait over 20 minutesfor their food. The rest of us were like no we'll wait for dinner. 1 hour later still nothing. Finally my husband, which we went there for his birthday, finally said can you please cancel our meals, we've been here almost 2 1/2 ‐3 hours. Were ñoy even hungry anymore, yes we had our soup or salads, our server Susan than told us that our order was put in after this big party they had looked like 20-30 people. Our daughter and greandkids ended up having to take their food to go home with out even seeing it. . Our neighbor that went with us got her food also to go without seeing it, and ended up calling them up and complaining about the stuffed Flounder. We did cancel our order. It's ashamed the Mgr Sarahcame up with an attitude, especially since we had already spent $ at the bar and bakery. We will never go back there again. It was totally ridiculous on the time we spent their. The bakery was fantastic and all of the backe goods were delious. So our thoughts on this restaurant, they will take care of their parties before individual tables! at least let your patrons know that there is a party order before yours. We were there for 3 hours without even eating dinner. Our server Susan was great. The manager Sarah couldn't have cared less, very sad. I have been ìn the hospitality field for many years and would never had handled it like she did...And if the owner Owen runs his businesses like this, I feel bad for him. Your letting your customers down. This is our 3rd time there, 2 time bad. Won't be a 4th. And I'm sure if there was a problem with my daughter's and grandkids meals she won't say anything as she doesn't like confrontation and she paid over $80, which is totally ridiculous to have to wait that long, never seeing it and taking it...

Read moreBy the reviews, I had high expectations. I love Italian food. My friend and I visited for lunch. We sat outside and the waitress was very nice. We shared the cheese stick appetizer. It reminded me of frozen, not homemade, no flavor at all, although the marinara that it's served with was very good. We ordered off the 2 for $25 menu because it seemed more in line with lunch prices to us. Bread rolls and salad came with the entrees, which was a great value. The bread rolls were served with marinara, and they were very good! The salad had olives tomato and cukes. Lots of iceberg, which I am not a fan of, so I ate around it. The house dressing was really tasty. My friend had a chicken dish and requested it without mushrooms, which they obliged. It was a very plentiful serving. She liked her dish ok but did say it was much better the next day as leftovers. I had the lasagna. When it arrived I was taken back because it was flat. Flat. The noodles they used were broken pieces, and the flavor was just ok. Mine was much better as leftovers because I added some ricotta and seasonings. Everyone does lasagna a bit differently, but I've never seen it made this way without layers. We stopped at the bakery counter on our way out, OF COURSE, and we both ordered a cookie and a lobster tail. The lobster tail was delicious, but both of our cookies, peanut butter and a sugar cookie, were super dry and hard as rocks. Mine was so bad I threw it out. I am not sure we would stop again,...
