Stepping into Scoops Ice Cream and Milkshake Bar for the second time, I was immediately enveloped in the cozy charm that hides within its unassuming location in a Boynton Beach public shopping center. Just like my first visit, the vibrant red chairs and the warm welcome from the staff set the stage for another memorable dessert experience.
On my previous visit, I had indulged in the 'C is for Cookie' milkshake, a choice that had left me eagerly anticipating my next visit. This time, my eyes were set on a brownie milkshake, though its name escaped me. My cousin, a fan of their pressed croissants, opted for the raspberry truffle variant, which intrigued me, given my usual indifference to raspberry.
Torn between my love for Moose Track ice cream and the absence of my preferred brownie variant, the staff offered a brilliant compromise: a Moose Track milkshake with an extra scoop of magic. Skeptical about the whipped cream (I usually skip it), I was convinced to try their in-house version, and oh, what a revelation it was! The milkshake was a masterpiece--perfectly blended ice cream, light and airy whipped cream, and generous brownie chunks that delighted every sip.
The obligatory photo shoot that followed captured our desserts in all their glory before we dove in. True to form, the milkshake exceeded my expectations, blending texture and taste in a symphony of sweetness. My cousin's pressed croissant, which I sampled with a hint of trepidation, surprised me. Against all odds, the raspberry truffle made me question my taste buds with its delightful flavor.
Scoops Ice Cream and Milkshake Bar has cemented its place as my top dessert destination in South Florida. Whether you're there to enjoy a family outing, a solitary treat, or a sweet date, this gem guarantees an unbeatable dessert experience. Its consistency, quality, and the sheer joy it brings with every visit make it a must-visit for anyone with a...
Read moreThis place is wonderful as itâs so colorful and welcoming! The style is so unique and the staff are not just kind but funny! Personally, I love the smoothies as there so fresh and great! I would definitely recommend this place! They had pictures of what some of the menus items look like and wow, I must sayâŚTHEY LOOK SO GOOD AND DETAILED!! Each deluxe milkshake has their deluxe feature! I never tried them, but they really do look deluxe!
Iâm continuing this review and let me just say that when I first walked into scoops, my mind was blown away! The vibe was surrounded by cute stuffyâs and just a type of welcoming vibe that not a lot of ice cream places possess. It was just so different and fun but when I looked over my head, I saw the most insanely items on there!
Like, I wasnât that hungry before entering but now? I could just stare at those amazing treats! When the word âscoopsâ ran in my head, I thought - âOh, some good ice cream.â What I thought was correct but what I didnât think about was all the other amazing looking treats they have! As I learned from someone if you want to have a âsweat treatâ with high quality ingredients, come to scoops! I mean come on- Some of the milkshakes come with a big chunk of cake! Speaking of cakes, they also serve ice cream cakes I think!
(I saw some cakes in the refrigerator) They also have cookies in the front and way more things on the menu that look super good! Def would recommend, if you want a âSweat treat!â
If youâre trying to be healthy or eat cleaner, not to worry!! (Kinda me) I come in for a smoothie a lot and you would think they have some hidden ingredient to make it great! The true secret is that I looked at the ingredients and itâs all clean...
Read more*This review is for customer service only. * Decided to try a new ice cream place today- photos & reviews on Google made it enticing. Upon entering there was an older man and a kid seated (turned out to be his grandchild) and the owners- husband & wife, possibly. The man (owner) stood near the man and his grandchild having a conversation. As it was our first time visiting, my child & I were looking around a little. The woman went behind the counter and asked what we'd like. I told her I needed a minute to look over the menu. Never asked if we'd been in before or made any suggestions. Her body language showed off that she was impatient and wanted to hurry us along. My kid is 8 and as some kids are, indecisive in what they want. After a few moments, we ordered. She made our milkshake and then I ordered an ice cream sandwich. My child and I sat at a table to eat. The other owner continued to talk to the man and his grandchild until they left. More customers walked in and I could hear the two owners talking to them- telling people what things were - ice cream quality, flavors etc and even offered other children candy. We cleaned our table and as we were leaving, I noticed the owners were just standing behind the counter talking to each other. Would've been a more pleasant experience had someone asked if we'd been in before and suggested something to try, had followed up by asking if we'd liked the sundae, or even acknowledged us with a simple "goodbye" as we left. With a hospitality background, a little friendliness would've gone a long way. I will...
