Update. Any place can get a great score and review based on a single visit. Works the other way as well which at times might be unfair. However, consistency is the name of game here. Came back in payday Friday as promised and BJ's hit another Homer. Prime Rib was juicy and tender and sides and all absolutely spot. We had a different wait staff named Austin who was smiling, pleasant, and attentive in the polite fashion. We are loving this place more and more.

We hadn't been to A BJ restaurant for years but ventured there Friday evening and boy are we glad we did. Our server Mandy was a pro and it was easy to see this wasn't her first rodeo. We like attentive but let us eat in peace wait staff and she fit the bill perfectly. We did not have appetizers but went straight to ordering the 15 oz prime rib special. We had the house salad which came with very fresh greens and spinach. Many restaurants serve a salad as almost and after thought but this one was super fresh and tasty. We ordered our prime rib medium rare and did not have to wait long at all for it to be served and it was absolutely spot on! It was carved thick and really tender and was one of the better prime ribs we have had in quite some time. We especially liked the horseradish sauce that was blended and whipped nicely that provided the horseradish taste that wasn't over powering. The green beans were presented with a wonderful buttery lemon flavor and we both remarked that they seemed as if they were picked fresh an hour prior. The loaded baked potato was perfect. We finished our meal by topping it off with a Carmel cookie Pazooki topped with vanilla icecream and carmel sauce and the bits of salted pretzel bites gave it the perfect blend. It was amazing. Here's the best part. We split the 15 oz prime rib dinner and both waddled away from the table. As it was at the Citrus Park Mall, it gave us the perfect after dinner stroll to get our systems running. NOW THE EVEN BETTER PART! Although we did not have cocktails or appetizers, our bill was 45 bucks. As we hopped in the car and drove home my wife kept saying OMG that was fabulous! Having a picky eater spouse be that happy about dinner fellas is worth way more to me than 45 bucks. We now have BJs on our list of regular dining on payday...

Stopped in here (Citrus Mall Florida location) for dinner with my mom. I will never be back. I ordered the cauliflower and quinoa power bowl (without pickled onions) and my mom got their equivalent of a French dip sub. I also got a to-go pizza for my husband at home. The pizza came out about 20 minutes before our dine-in food. Deep dish is a misnomer as their pizza is just thick crust and not what I think of when I think of deep dish. When our dine-in food came out I received a power bowl with chicken. I sent it back. My mom’s food didn’t come with the horse radish sauce that’s on the menu so she asked for it. A few minutes later the waitress came back with pop refills and told me she ordered my tacos for me and put it on rush order. I told her I hadn’t ordered tacos, I had ordered a power bowl, so she rushed to the kitchen to correct this. When it finally came out my meal had a huge scoop of pickled onions on it. I scooped it off and the waitress said nothing while watching this and left. I didn’t have silverware so my mom went hunting for some. She had to reach around the manager to grab it herself as he was too busy watching the football game at the bar to notice her asking for help. I finally ate and my mom finished her meal still without horseradish sauce. I was comped nothing on my bill for the issues and part of my mom’s bill was on mine. We will not be back. The waitress stated she had been there all day which says to me they are short on staff so I’m not sure why the manager stood at the bar and watched football the entire time instead of...

I have been to this location at least 10 times but the last 3 or 4 times have been absolutely horrendous. I can't believe I kept going back but this last time I had a gift card so I tried again. The wait is the issue I continously have where the last time I went, the waiter was in the back on his phone and never rang our orders in after 40 minutes waiting. We were there for 2 hours by the time the food and check came. We had to get the manager involved because it was crazy. Well we just went for appetizers and pizookies recently and we were there over an hour and half. The wait staff never seem to come to our table and the food takes forever. We waited 25 minutes alone for just the dessert. No refills for any of our drinks because the waiter just wouldn't come back. Several times before our recent visit that they got our order wrong and then brought out chicken that was still pink and that was prepandemic and before they temporarily closed for several months. I will absolutely never be going back here and didn't even want to go back this last time but figured free food with the gift card I had. It's not even just one bad night, it is a handful of times back to back. Do not expect to go here and get quick or even normal service. You will be waiting for the wait staff and you will be waiting for the food. Also, the floors are extremely greasy and slippery...
