Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Florida

I recently visited Bruster’s Ice Cream – Valrico, FL and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in (or drove up), I was greeted by friendly staff who were enthusiastic and helpful. The store has a warm, welcoming vibe and spotlessly clean facilities.

The ice cream itself is top-tier — they handcraft fresh flavors daily, and it shows. I tried the Birthday Cake and Sea Salt Caramel flavors, each scoop was creamy, rich, and full of real flavor. Their waffle cones were crisp and freshly baked. I also appreciated that they offer non-dairy oat milk flavors and no-sugar-added options, making it easy for everyone to find something delicious.

What stood out most was the service. The staff took the time to explain flavor options, offered generous samples, and made sure each order was perfect. They handled the ordering process efficiently, even during busier times, which made the visit smooth and enjoyable.

For the past year, I have been coming to Bruster's ice cream and for the most part the ice cream has been great!!! I like the variety of flavors and that flavor of the ice cream actually tastes as it is supposed to be. My issue, and why I gave this location 4 Stars, is the inconsistent sizing of the Peanut Butter cup Sundae and the customer service. For example, the Peanut Butter cup Sundae is supposed to be served in a clear plastic bowl. Though, whenever I have ordered it, it either comes in the large cup, or the clear bowl. This last time, the sundae was served in a large cup and it was missing the actual peanut butter and there was no hot fudge in it. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that one was not on duty and that the manager would not be in till the next day. When I called the next day and explained the situation to the manager, all she could offer was a $1.00 off coupon. For a place that serves $8.00 sundae's, my expectation is that item is served in the correct bowl with the correct amount ingredients. So, when I bring an issue to the attention of the stores management, I should be offered something more than...

My FAVORITE ice cream spot in the area!!! Whether it’s me and my family or just me and my daughter, we ALWAYS look forward to coming here! Such a large variety of different delicious ice creams. The staff is always friendly. Not to mention, the drive thru is always so convenient especially when I have tired babies in the car that just want a scoop. The real reason why I’m writing this review is because I LOVE the strawberry mango sorbet and I found out today that it was seasonal. I literally crave one every-time I pick up my daughter from school and to find out it’s not going to be around long is sad! It’s so perfectly refreshing for the summer time, especially in Florida being that it’s hot all year long, so to have it for just a month isn’t enough time to really enjoy it! And I’m honestly surprised with how popular that chili lime strawberry mango flavor is for it not to be around longer. I hope that changes.. but despite that, Brusters definitely has a forever customer in me! 10/10
