BurgerFi — Restaurant in Florida

Used to go here and truly enjoyed it...in the beginning. They fell off after a while and we stopped going. Went tonight for the 1st time in a long while. Let me say, that it was pretty bad all the way around. Ordered 1 combo burger and 1 burger- non combo as well as a kids cheeseburger meal. Cashier confirmed that I did not want a combo on 1 of the burgers, but somehow it was rang up as 2 combos. Mistakes happen, not the end of the world. Waited a ridiculously long time to get food. I wasn't given a table number tent so had to navigate that with the food runner. She was the only highlight of the visit as she asked the name on order and said she would make sure it got to us and she did. All the burgers were crumbling as we tried to eat them. The grandbaby said it was the worst burger she ever had. She picked most of the bun and burger off for the "inedible pile". The fries looked absolutely terrible. Most of the fries were so burnt and just nasty looking and tasting. I felt like most of the fries had been cooking in a fryer way longer than they should have. Witnessed numerous other orders of other tables fries that were close to golden in color, at least not not black. All 3 orders of our fries were dark, dark brown/black from some kind of fryer torture treatment. Got the little one a milkshake, and I kid you not, waited close to 25 mins for the shake. After inquiring about it, the, aforementioned, food runner checked on it for me. Watched her pull a long ago made vanilla shake out of the cooler, spray whipped cream on top and added the sprinkles and gave it to me. Ok cool, or so I thought. Head out the door and the shake was very runny, I guess from sitting in a fridge, I don't know. It was all pretty subpar all the way around. For sure will not waste my $$ at this place again. And let me tell you, it was about $55 for that abysmal failure of a meal. 4/19 Update: Kudos to BurgerFi, I assume they read these reviews because the refund processed a couple of days later. 😂

4/13: Update - I rescind my 5-star review because I just realized I was still charged lol. It's not worth the headache for $30.

3/26: I'm a huge fan of BurgerFi! I love that the have a lettuce wrap option and I enjoy their burgers.

This was my first visit to the Lake Mary location and, even though my order got lost, I was super impressed with how their shift manager, Jade, handled it. It was a Friday night and they were slammed. I did a mobile order and it was not ready at the estimated time so I gave my name and took a seat. You could tell the team was killing themselves trying to keep up. After waiting 25-30 mins, I checked in again. The girl went to check on my ticket and I could tell it had gotten buried. She checked with the kitchen and no one had my order. So it had not even been worked on. The most frustrating part of the experience was the lack of communication. After asking the ladies who were taking the orders instead, I was told they were working on it and it would be right out. I knew it had gotten lost my even though they never said it.

After about a total hour of waiting, a young woman walked out with my order and introduced herself as Jade, the shift manager. She explained that they had gotten very busy and my order had gotten lost, acknowledged that it was unacceptable, and apologized profusely for the error. She then said she would be giving me a complete refund and then handed me my food. I was shocked speechless by how genuine and professional she was at such a young age. All I could say was thank you before I left. I had to call on my way home to get her name so I could leave this review.

It's been a rough year and we could all stand to use a little more kindness and patience. I'm grateful to Jade for taking the time to apologize to me for the wait and huge thanks to the BurgerFi staff for their hard...

This place is gross update this place is like the car that is so dirty people write wash me on the outside. PLEASE rent a power washer and clean the outside.they have managed to stop the kitchen sewer leak but still are unaware of an invention called a power washer. Or hire someone that has this amazing new invention. Well Well, what a surprise closed by the health department for failing multiple checks. I have warned everyone this place is disgusting. How fitting. Just look at the DumpsteIr slop outside the kitchen door. I cant even stand walking past the place let alone eat in it. would give this place a zerro if Google allowed me to. The Burger was meh.....the fries are terrible as compared to 5 guys. What's with the seasoned junk on them? At least have a regular version available. But then, before you even walk into this dump, look by the kitchen door. This place has not used a power washer since they opened. They sweep and mop the kitchen slop outside the door where u sit and eat. So u are basically sitting in dumpster juice. YUM YUM. if they care that little about the appearance, how clean do you really think that kitchen is. Or how much do you think they care about it HARD NO. Never again. I am happy to see ownership replied, but the fact that they have allowed this outside area to get this gross is beyond me. My garage floor is cleaner than this outdoor seating area. Update:They still have not cleaned the disgusting dumpster slop outside. I will keep this review up top until it's cleaned. They continue to respond to reviews as if none of this is true. I have posted a picture of the filth. PLEASE note this is near tables and the eating area coming out of their Kitchen. Apparently rats don't...
