Cariflex Sports Diner — Restaurant in Florida

The food was good. It's hard to eat fish with so many bones, but it was cooked really well. The menu is on the wall which is convenient, I didnt get much assistance with the menu as a first time customer so I just got with a colleague ordered. The food did to take long to come out of the kitchen. The place is a bit small but cozy for an intimate gathering. We had a big group so it was hard to communicate with other people due to the length of the rectangular table. The restroom was clean, the music came on a about 20 mins of me being seated and the Caribbean...

I've had quite a few items on the menu here, and I keep asking for the recipes. The rice is always perfect, vegetables not overcooked and the meats..... my favorite is the chicken. Curried chicken or goat is tender, flavourful, with just the right hint of heat. The jerk chicken, though, takes the cake for me. Since I'm not local to the area, I get a few extra pieces, freezing them for later. Although I don't eat pork, my coworkers compliment the jerk pork. The staff is warm, welcoming, and treats customers...

(Day 2 visit) Another night of hopeful satisfied craving (abiding by the posted opening hrs) just to be let down again...smfh. Just post accurate hrs!!!

(Day 1 visit) Nothing is more upsetting than to come from a long day of BS while dealing with the people and stresses of this world just to attempt to meet the cutoff time posted by this establishment (while craving curry goat with rice and peas) and to find all the lights off and the door locked😭😭😭.
