Due to this recent experience I am changing my review... And this location has lost our business until this matter is resolved... And here's what the problem is...

At approximately 3:45 on May 11 at the 7604 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32807 location, my husband went into this locations drive thru. He was interrupted rudely several times during the order process, snapped at, and when he finally gave up and said "[censored] this", the manager then proceeded to cuss him out telling him to "[censored] off and leave". When I went back up there less than 10 min later he was just as rude, wouldn't listen to anything I had to say, tried to claim that HE was disrespected, and (a direct quote) "if I get disrespected, I disrespect that person back. I'm the manager here, and I'll do what I want. " and when I asked if he thought that it was proper procedure for him to respond that way to a customer (who spends at least 60$ every trip up there) he said (another quote) "I don't care. I'm the manager, I make the rules. And every employee in here will back up what I say." (Side note, every employee in this location looked at him with differing degrees of disgust, shock, and slight fear.) When I stated that in most places that deal with customers, that is something that he could be fired for. He stated (and I quote) "I don't care. If I get fired, I get fired. I will do whatever I want."
I do believe that this is the WRONG attitude a MANAGER is supposed to have... And I'm not sure on this, but I think he claimed he was the GENERAL MANAGER. Is this the kind of representation you want in your stores? Someone who obviously doesn't care whether he chases away your customers? I do believe he needs to be taught a proper lesson in customer service... I've been a server/waitress for 30 years. This behaviour was appealing at least and infuriating at worst... I believe it would serve him right if he WAS fired... And if not fired, then demoted and transferred to another location. Because as long as he's there, my family will NOT be spending 60-80 per trip there... And I WILL put a review on Google warning others about the possibilities of how they might get treated
So be warned... this manager has a HUGE chip on his shoulder and doesn't give a rats behind about proper...
Read moreI ordered around 3:15am order 28.11 3 orders of double spicy, 1 fully loaded fries 1 apple pie the high blonde hair girl mumbled her words to go around the other lane to get fresh food ( she looks heavy under the influence) we drove around back waited for an hour same girl came to the window and asked what was our order 2 seconds later asking again what was our order then someone else came to the window and asked What was our order It was THREE times they asked we got frustrated cause we waited an hour for fresh foood and no one knew what our order was we asked for a refund then no one came to the window for a good five minutes until we said Hellooo then they apparently gave us a refund with a receipt that said 0.00 with nothing else on it?? And they didn’t even know what our order was??? Horrible customer service I personally work at fast food and this was one of the worst experiences I ever had. We left with no food and not knowing if we’re gonna get our money back. Corporate needs to watch this store and what’s going on cause this was ridiculous didn’t leave out of...
Read moreUpdate: checkers responded with a public relations post pretending they are not aware of the now years-long disaster that the automated ordering is. Corporate trying to cover up their ultimate failure like this was a one-off experience. It has never worked properly and it will not listen to you or stop demanding you add bacon to every single item you try to order, with a 5+ second delay on each step. The drive through is onerous and aggravating because of the automated order taker. The human workers are great. The robot order taker is slow, obnoxious, rude, and can't get your order right. Checkers used to be great but ever since this automated order disaster, it just isn't worth going unless you want food roulette. Thankfully, a human had to take over for the order because the speech recognition crashed. Perfect example of corporate not knowing how their facility operates and thinking "AI" can make things better. When I order beef with no pickles, don't give me fish with pickles.
