Extremely Disappointed – Would Not Recommend

I brought my daughter’s baby jewelry here to get repaired and to have a ring resized. These pieces had sentimental value, and I paid $100 upfront with the agreement to pay the remaining $100 upon pickup. I was told I’d receive a call when the items were ready, but I never did. I had to reach out myself after some time passed.

Life happened — I fell on hard times and moved, but when I finally called to check on the jewelry, the owner told me the store had been broken into and that some items were missing. He said he would check if my daughter’s jewelry was among them, but I never got a follow-up call.

What hurts the most is that this was all my daughter’s jewelry from when she was a baby — small, unique, and irreplaceable. The owner vaguely mentioned that he and his wife would go through boxes, but they never got back to me. When I tried to verify my claim, he dismissed me, saying, “Where’s your ticket? I made you take a picture of it.” That was several phones ago — things happen — but surely there should be another way to verify a paying customer.

I am completely in shock right now. My mother recently passed away. When she was in the hospital, they had to cut her ring off of her finger. My mother didn't really own much jewelry; but, this ring she wore every single day. I took it to another jeweler who said they wouldn't be able to fix it because 1) it is a very delicate band and 2) it was cut in a very weird place (they cut through the upper side). He referred me to HT.

I was IMMEDIATELY assisted by Hernan who was very friendly and professional. The turnaround from when I dropped off the ring to when it was ready was less than a week!

The ring is STUNNING! It looks brand new! Hernan replaced all of the missing stones and just made this ring look its absolute best.

He will never know how much it means to me to have this piece of my mother. Hernan truly did the most amazing work and I couldn't imagine ever going anywhere else for any jewelry needs. Needless to say, I was immediately brought to tears when he showed me the ring.

Wow, what a wonderful experience with Hernan at HT Design. So professional, welcoming and truly attentive to our needs on top of delivering in a quick turn around.

My sweetie and I had some rings made for our engagement and wedding by a different jeweller. Had we known him before and that Hernan had such talent of creation, we would have had him design our rings. He mounted the diamond we bought on my engagement ring with such craftsmanship. Then the rings were a bit too big and were turning on my finger so Hernan's creative genius found an answer to make the rings fit without having to cut them.

There was another adjustment that we couldn't do before our wedding so we had the pleasure of going to see him again and what a joy to share with him a few pictures of our wedding. He celebrated with us in his beautiful store as if we were part of his family.
