Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Florida

My wife and I have been going to Chilli's for years and we generally eat the same thing each time we go. Today we went to the Chilli's in Brooksville and were disappointed pretty much all the way around. There was a gentleman with his two very young daughters in front of us when we walked in the door waiting fo be seated. The hostess showed up after a few minutes and tried to seat the gentleman and his daughters at a booth in the bar where the booth was about four feet from the floor. The man declined and she sat him at a regular booth. The hostess then tried to sit us at the high booth in the bar and we declined. She then tried to sit us right outside of the bathrooms across from a workstation where we briefly sat and after she left, reseated ourselves. There were plenty of seats away from the bathroom and noisy workstation. The next issue was the menu. They gave us a plastic sheet that instructed us to scan a barcode to see the menu on our phone. My wife doesn't carry her cell phone with her and I wasn't about to try and read a menu on a cell phone. Our waiter, Fabian (the only good experience at that Chilli's), was nice enough to dig up a regular menu for us. Now for the meal. My wife had the buffalo chicken salad and a bowl of the chicken enchilada soup and I had the bottomless soup and salad with chips and salsa. My wife had decaf coffee and a water and I ordered sweet tea to drink. For some reason (and a lot of restaurants are doing this now days) the waiter/waitress takes your order and someone else brings your stuff. We placed our order and Fabian was meticulous in getting all the details of our order. After ten minutes or so a young girl came out with my wife's coffee and soup. My wife had finished her soup when that same young gal came around again and I asked her to bring my tea and my wife's water. A few minutes after that I asked Fabian to bring out the chips and salsa and he brought that and my soup. As I said earlier, my wife and I have had this particular meal many times in the past. The potato soup was really lacking in potatoes and mostly cheesy broth. The lettuce used in the salads was far from fresh. Some of the chicken in my wife's salad was not completely done. All in all, with the exception of Fabian, it was a very disappointing meal. I will not return to that...

I am not the one to complain and write bad reviews, but this location needs some serious retraining. This is the third and last time i come to this location. Every time i have come to this location, i have had a problem. First time the waiter gave us an attitude and would not get a manager. Got the same guy the second time i came and he was still rude. This third time, after we were seated we waited almost 10 minutes just to get our drink orders in. We ordered everything with the drinks. I understand that some waitresses can remember the orders, but still write it down. Because she did not write it down, she charged us for chips and queso that we never even got and chips and salsa, which we got but thats included with the queso. So basically we were about to pay 11$ for chips. We waited 25 min for queso that we never got but our food came out. At he same time, the table behind us got our queso that we ordered and they walked in 5 minutes prior. Also because she did not write the order down, she double charged me for a upgraded vegetable that i asked to replace the broccoli and i didn't even get my mashed potatoes. The manager came over and ask us how the meal was and i told him what was going on. He was great. Comp'd us for the queso and a free desert. At this point out waitress still had not come to refill drinks or anything after 35 minutes. I saw her chit chatting with another employee even after we got our food. When she finally came over we were almost done with our meals and ready to get our desert. We only saw the waitress one more time when she brought us the desert. Always come here & have great experiences with waiters & great food, but today was bad we had a waitress named Dayna who was just not happy to be at work today, she didn’t introduce herself she just asked what we wanted to drink she then explains to us how we can’t get free chips and salsa with 3 for $10 ok no problem out comes our food and we eat for 10-15 minutes no one comes to the table to ask how was it, she didn’t come to the table to refill our drinks or anything then we came across another worker i kindly asked for our check because we were paying in cash so he tells miss Dayna I’m assuming because she literally walked to our table sits the receipt down and turns her back, still not asking if we enjoyed or if we needed anything else no refill on our drinks, so we’re waiting and waiting for her to come grab our cash and the bill not one time did she come back or approach us! I’m so disappointed like it’s people like that who don’t deserve a tip! Don’t get me wrong i always tip at least 20% but the simple fact that you’re doing that bad of a job because you were mad and letting it effect the way you do your job is beyond me! No one asked for you to work as a waiter let alone treat customers with that type of respect! I will be returning but I’ll make sure to not have her again...
