Disappointing Experience at Chiliās We visited Chiliās recently and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. When our server, Jesse, first approached our table, it was clear she wasnāt having a good day. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and when it arrived, it looked poorly made and tasted just as bad. This is what i always get and that one was not good at all. I kindly asked Jesse to take the drink back because I didnāt like it, but it seemed to upset her. After that, she never came back to our table. Another server, Bri, eventually stepped in and said Jesse āhad to go homeā, which was strange because we later saw Jesse still there when we left. It made us wonder why she chose not to help us anymoreāwhether it was personal, because weāre Latinos, or if there was another issue. Adding to the frustration, when the food started coming out, we realized that some of the items we ordered were missing. Bri checked, and it turned out Jesse never put them in. Overall, service was really bad, even though Bri tried to make it better, had incomplete service, and felt unwelcome during the entire visit. We left disappointed and confused about what had gone wrong. Not coming back to this location. Chiliās needs to do better because this kind of treatment is absolutely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreItās so unfortunate I have to leave this review. This location became my favorite place to take my kids after work & school on a Friday. I pass a closer location just to arrive to this one because the food and service met my expectations. My issue was that I accidentally left my wallet at the restaurant, initially the restaurant denied having it when I called but 2 days later called me and said they have it and a manager will hold onto it until I pick it up. I made it in almost 1 week and half later and was told a manager will give it to me. I decided to stay and eat with my kids and a friend of mine who came in from out of town. To my surprise the manager informed me they no longer had the wallet and have no idea where it went. It was mentioned the room it was held in is only used by managers and they are the only ones with a key. So in all a manager at this establishment stole my wallet after it was being held for me to pick up. I am now seeking legal action against this establishment. All I wanted was my driver license. Such a shame the employees. Never again would I visit this place and if you do make sure you keep your wallet away...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were at Chiliās, trying to keep our meal affordable since weāre all in college. Jeremey was our server, and he was nice. When it came time to pay, my meal was only $11 and iām at chilis and barely even have money for this meal but needed to eat. Im not at a nice restaurant then extent of service is not comparable. I personally donāt have the extra money to be spending. My one friend left a tip as there financial situation is better. my other friend left a cash tip of $2, which is actually more than 20%. My other friends and i were just covering our meals, and I could tell money was tight for all of us.
When Jeremey came back to our table, he asked if something was wrong with the service because only one of us tipped. I pointed out my friends cash tip, but when he picked it up, he checked how much and said, āYou can keep your two dollars.ā Then he went on to explain how Chiliās takes a percentage of his tips. I wanted to tell him that weāre all doing our best and that itās Chiliās responsibility to pay their employees, not ours. 20% is generally...
