I generally do not write reviews but after todays visit thought it was justified.Arrived about 3:30pm. ordered 2 mushroom swiss burgers 1 less the cheese cooked medium with an iced tea with lemon and a water. for a party of 2. The burgers arrived and we were asked who was no tomato.Replied 1 was less cheese. She apologized and said she would return.Manager came over and inquired about the food informed her 1 was returned and we were waiting for it..She apologized and said to save room for desert as it was on her. Said thank you The waiter brought the burger apologized and said he hit the wrong button less tomato vs. cheese.I had already finished half of my burger and asked if it was suposed to include sauted onions as it didn't.The waiter advised it should but some times the cooks get lazy and asked if I wanted some. Advised no thanks just wondering.. We appreciated his honesty.
We finished the meal that tasted good and ordered 2 deserts to go informed the waiter of the conversation with the manager. He returned and advised the manager said 1 desert. I don't argue said fine bring 1.
Received our bill and saw that we were charged for 2 mango iced teas. 1 desert and the free salsa and chips for being a reward member..Informed the waiter of the error as we ordered 1 regular iced tea and 1 water. Questioned if the price was the same for a mango vs regular iced tea.Waiter advised it was (I have now reviewed their menu and there is an additional charge 40 cents) and he would correct the bill that also required an over ride for the desert because we already had free chips for their reward program. The reason for this review is to suggest people check their bill closely before you pay. Its convienent to swipe but pay attenion to the details. If I didn't review an overcharge of $11.00 would have been made on a $24.00 bill. A suggestion to the manager from someone who has been involved in customer service for 32 years .You initially handled the lapse in service properly by recognizing the mistake and attempting to correct it by the offer of free desert .You spoke to the table of 2 who were equally inconvienced by not eating their meals together, .At no time did I ever complain I only answered the questions presented by the staff and listened to your attempt of service recovery and the words you spoke.. .
Not looking for anything for free just quality service proper billing and good food.I will go somewhere...
Read moreUpon entering the restaurant today while my wife and I were wearing masks. The nice Server steered us to our favorite booths by the window. Noticing most of the tables full and realizing immediately, we can't social distance there. I asked to sit away from others eating, (Can't wear a masks and eat right?). She placed us in a center booth without anyone surrounding us, "Perfect" except two groups of four or more were soon placed on either side of us. Those groups of friendly people entered the building unmasked. I was so hot, I stepped outside for a few minutes and returned again donning my masks until our food was served. I hadn't noticed until after the meal and literally coming face to face with the Manager. Neither the Manager or any other employees were wearing masks. Including my Server. In recent months I haven't noticed any large national business where all of the employees were not wearing masks. Especially restaurants because customers are unmasked eating and and drinking all around. I felt like I was sitting in a super spreader event just waiting to catch Covid-19. Immediately after eating I again donned my mask until my wife reminded me to drink my lemonade I ordered. I gulped it down, packed my to go box and headed for the door asap. What's happening at our favorite Chili's? Are they feeling that wearing a masks or not is a political statement to or for one side or the other? It's a Pandemic, there's an invisible virus going around that spreads and infects humans without respiratory protection. With higher infection rates and transmission in doors. Certainly, many restaurant workers and customers have been infected in similar situations? My wife and I are Veterans and only went the today for Veterans Day free entree's. I will not be returning until 2022. Except for curbside pickup to go orders. Chili's Epic Fail for...
Read moreSo first of all, let me make it very very clear that I understand ordering through bitesquad or outside delivery can be a bit confusing at times and sometimes the restaurant is not always responsible for messed up orders. I received food that was in no way correct so I placed a call to the manager MELODY, to explain to her that nothing was right and her response was " Well I talked to my to go guy and he said everything was fine that he checked it and you should have everything on the side" As a manager THATS what you have to say? First of all I ordered their special Crispers THAT HAD 0 SAUCE ON THEM. 0. But they were in fact put in through bitesquad WITH sauce. Second, they completely forgot my fries, but that was bitesquads fault right, even though they're served with fries? Their baked potato soup had probably 3 potato's in it, but I won't complain about that because it's the only thing they got right. It definitely was the restaurant at fault in this case, and Melody you should train your to go staff to ACTUALLY check the food and you should take some classes to learn how to properly manage. If I could give you 0 stars believe me I would. Sad what corporations are...
