Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Florida

There are 2 of many all time Chipotle restaurants that I speak highly of. This one and the one on 436 near I4 in Altamonte Springs. If I had to choose between the two it would be this Lake Mary one.

I have been to this location on average of 2-3 times a week over a time span of 15 months.

My order of choice Dbl Steak Bowl.

I cannot speak of the beans because I usually only do that on Nachos.

The steak is in my experience always fresh but then I usually went between 1:30-6pm.

The vegetables always cut and cooked fresh. I have NEVER had a bad experience at this location and only once over all my experiences.

The tea is literally tea brewed and yes fresh (may wanna get some ice though). The lemons aren't sitting out for hours on end either.

Atmosphere kinda like Hollister and Abercombe type crowd.

They do serve beer, no wine. Juice and milk at some locations as well.

Prices are fair in my opinion.

Food is Healthy and no preservatives.

Staff are super friendly. Seating well it's sort of fast food, but ya I usually had to go back to the office. But I would eat there if I had the time.

You can also order ahead of time and pick it up and skip the line.

This location gets BUSY. But the line moves right a long.

The only set back is, this store is Not big enough for its location and the amount of people coming there. Honestly if it was bigger, I think a lot more business would come. Also the Lake Mary Blvd sign for this gold mine they have trees practically blocking the sign. As a store owner I would want to fix it, but you can easily miss the turn if your not paying attention.

Walked in at 10:15. The sign says open until 11pm. The chairs at the table were already flipped up. Once we got to the counter we were told they had nothing but chicken for protein. They also had no queso and guacamole. We thought ok so normal and ordered chicken and veggie entrees. We had to wait for the cold side because nobody was there. Someone came from the back finally and finished up a woman’s order that was in front of us. They however, did not check her out even though she was done because no one was working the register. There was a worker cleaning the tables and windows and walked back multiple times and never came to help out the line. The guy that dealt with the cold side had worked the other orders in my party, got to me asked what I wanted to finish my bowl, then walked away. I was so confused. He checked the woman in front of us out and then came back to me all moody and asked me what I wanted again. We are in the middle of this and they are stopping to work on an online order with another guy while they were working on our food. They were all angry that they had to go to the back to get the chips he ordered. When they came back up and we finally got done and was ready to check out we asked for chips and they said they ran out. We called them on their lie and said we just saw them give the other guy chips and they said they just ran out. We were so mad about this because we were just asking them to do the job they were hired for. This location use to be so friendly and helpful. As of recent years it has declined. disgusting place. Went to order 2 burrito bowls, as I am placing the order with the employee, a second employee in uniform walks over to him and passes him what looked like a vape. The gloved employee making my order took the item, placed it in his pocket and then pushed down on the bowl portion of the burrito bowl packaging as he prepared to make my order. Cant be sure what the item was , a vape or not , but the dirt, germs, nicotine, whatever on the item was passed onto his gloved hand, he put it in his pocket, then immediately put the same gloved hand onto the bowl section that my food was about to go. GROSS. I told him I was going to the bathroom and did , to find no paper towels after I washed my hands. What a disgusting restaurant. Tried to file a complaint on the corporate website 3 times and wasted 30 minutes. Each time at the end, the website, upon trying to enter the incident doesnt accept it and asks you to refresh the page, which just wipes out the complaint and you have to start over. Called the store number the next day and it rings 40 plus times, no one answers, then it asks you for your pass code and disconnects on you.
