The food is always reliability good here and some of the freshest tasting chain quick take out you can find. If you aren't familiar with Chipotle you order and go down a line where the employees dish out your food which is encased behind glass and pay at the end of the line. The line employees are always friendly and helpful and happy to allow you to customize your food to your liking. They never hesitate to provide a water cup on the days when prefer not to have another drink. The bowl portions are very large and easily can feed two or save half for another meal. The bowl uses a cardboard type bottom with a domed foil lid so easy to take leftovers home. The salsa is very good and made in house, the chips to me are thick and average tasting so rarely order as it's an a carte item.
The only negative is not with Chipotle and on visits during busy times some of the customers use this as their children's playground and allow them to wander, strewn food, bags, utensils, dishes all over and leave without cleaning after themselves. When busy the tables turn right over not allowing the employees to clean. . Thankfully not everyone is so entitled and the employees diligently clean it up but people should really be mindful of themselves. This occurs at a lot of Westchase casual dining places as elsewhere - sad.
The store backs up to Linebaugh Avenue but the front faces a parking lot with a wildlife pond area off to the side. There are outdoor tables on a paver patio and you can dine outside watch all sorts of wild birds as well as some resident ducks most pleasant in cooler weather. They are constantly messing up orders, staff always seem to be in a rush (even when there's not a lot of customers), employees are extremely rude and impatient and the overall service is inconsistent! I've had many issues at this location but my experience this evening will cause me to no longer patronize this location as a whole. After patiently waiting in an extremely long line an employee who was preparing my food began to rush me. I told her I would like to wait for mild salsa as there was currently none on the line (it was being switched out). She began to get impatient and repeatedly ask me what else I'd like and I told her I'd like to wait as I didn't want her to just top my bowl off with mild salsa after placing other toppings in my bowl. She seemed extremely irritated and began rolling her eyes and making comments under her breath. If I can find the patience to wait in a line that had 10 plus people in it I expect the same patience in return while preparing my food. Nobody wants to eat food prepared by irate employees. I then asked to speak to a manager who said NOT one word to me as she greeted me, not even so much as "How can I help you?" NOTHING!!! I gave my feedback and expressed my dissatisfaction and all she had to say was "Ok!" She was just as lackluster and unprofessional as her associate. First, the app makes you do a two-step verification with a code, however you’re unable to submit it because of a glitch on the app where the verify button stays covered with a keyboard. Secondly, their phone order system Is completely ridiculous! You can’t edit anything at all and it is extremely slow and laborious. I finally submitted my order, picked up the food, and when I opened my burrito bowl, there was no Barbacoa. I was charged for it and the label indicates it should have Barbacoa but, alas, no meat! Lastly, I try and call or chat to get my money back or at least file a complaint, but there is no way to do it! Again, the app doesn’t work, but the chat keeps referring you to go to the app and sign in. The only phone number is the same automated phone system. It only allows you to state while you’re calling back, apologizes you’re having trouble, but then tries to take another order! There appears to be no way to call the restaurant and get any satisfaction or customer service whatsoever! I am a long-term customer but I am done...
