My wife and I ordered a chicken salad w Guacamole and 2 tacos for takeout. The tacos were just ok but the chicken salad was not fresh at all. Chicken mushy and the Guac was very brown. I took the food back to the outlet and VERY politely asked of a refund. The person I spoke to at the cash register asked me to take my bag of food and move away from the cash. She said someone would help me soon. I waited for them to serve another 5-6 or more customers and then again asked VERY politely if they could process my refund before the next group of customers and they said no. After serving not less than 10 more customers I finally asked again if my refund could be processed and if not I said I'd just leave. It wasn't that important to get a refund. All restaurants have bad days. I get it. They then asked the manager to help but she seemed indignant. Finally after they asked her again, and after everyone in the restaurant was served, the manager (Maria Lopez) agreed to process my refund. She avoided any eye contact with me, swiped her card a few times on her POS and then walked away. A young server asked me to insert my card and gave me a receipt. I politely asked if it was customary to not say sorry for serving bad food. The cashier said "who me? no". I then asked the manager if anyone wanted to apologize. I said a simple "sorry" would be fine. She said "you don't like the food. It's fresh so go". I asked her to repeat what she'd said and she said "you don't like the food so go". I told her I come there every week while wintering and she said "I don't care". It's not a big deal but she's really nasty piece of work. My guess is that's why the restaurant is not longer busy and the mood and service in that location is awful. At no point in my encounter did I raise my voice or behave inappropriately. Food workers are subjected to awful things and I'm very careful to not be one of...
Read moreThere are absolutely no words in the English language nor dictionary to describe the ABSOLUTE TOTAL FAILURE THIS CHIPOTLE IS. I have gone to this chipotle first thing in the morning, during the day and even at night time. They are endlessly out of main ingredients. They always ran out of beans, ran out of chicken and steak, today they actually RAN OUT OF SALT. Meaning they cooked ALL THEIR FOOD WITH ZERO SALT. IT TASTE HORRIBLE, they had the audacity to still charge customers. The workers and managers endlessly complain they ran out of all their food by 7pm, by 8pm, by 6pm. In the mornings it will be NOON time and they have NOT MADE their food yet. No veggies made by 11am or noon. Yet they open at 10:45am?
They constantly COMPLAIN AND WHINE to all customers that their too short staff. They will post on the door "online orders only" due to short staff. Or complain they didn't cook any more food due to short staff. The wait times are unbelievable, they never get to the customer service part. All employees who work there seem miserable.
They do issue ALOT OF REFUNDS SIMPLY DUE TO HAVING NO INGREDIENTS, EXTENDED WAIT TIMES, AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Why should customers have to pay for rice with no salt, burnt meat, and no beans. No veggies available.
This is by far the worst CHIPOTLE in all of Florida. I have given them more then 4 chances, and complain to managers. Seems they get worst and worst and blame it on running out of food and not enough staff. The staff that is there seems to be NOT PROPERLY TRAINED and...
Read moreI've been a regular at Chipotle, and never had issues, even when they had all the negative reviews about food safety. However this location is concerning. I saw the staff prepare someone's burrito with steak etc. I am vegetarian and I saw his prep gloves were deeply stained from the previous order, almost orange in color. I asked if he could please use fresh gloves for my bowl. The guy went ahead adding rice and beans with his fingers from one hand inside the bowl. He heard but ignored my request and passed it to the next person. I told the next person, a lady who seemed like the manager, that I had asked for fresh gloves given the meat juices in a vegetarian order. She ignored it and kept asking for toppings etc. put it all in, scowling all the way. I repeated what I said, she just said we used fresh gloves and passed it to check out. I didn't want to make a scene, the checkout person was very friendly, and felt pressure to move things along with 5 people behind me. So I paid and left, came home and could not bring myself to eat it knowing the meat juices were in the rice and beans in the bowl. My stomach does not handle meat products well. I gave it to a friend, who is not vegetarian and so had no issues with that and writing this review instead. Sad cause now I take their food safety issues seriously and may not go back...
