Chuck Wagon Restaurant — Restaurant in Florida

I wanted to try a new place besides our usual Denny's so was told that this place was "Great". We were planning to go to the one on Sunset because we were told that the service was impeccable but they are closed on Tuesday. So we decided to drive further to this one. I walked in and the lady screamed from across the room "sit anywhere" ok that's a first. The place looked clean and the ambiance was quiet. We ordered our food and noticed that another table for his food and you could see the steam coming out of his eggs. I told my mom Ok so far so good I could tell the food was coming out Hot. A server came over introduce herself and gave us the menu. I told her it was our first time and she welcomed us. I thought she was going to be our server but NOPE. The next Server came and didn't introduce herself and I told her let's start with coffee. She brings the coffee and it's super watered down and my mom says to me not her it's not strong. Server says, " can't expect much is a nasty coffee" inside I said to myself WOW! I ordered the food. Great presentation but SUPER COLD, bacon extremely salty, tasteless grits and had to add enough ketchup to the eggs. By the way she didn't even give us Water nor offered to bring us. My mom requested a container to take the rest and her reply was "ya- pero que comieron con los ojos" seriously my mother felt she had to tell her she had gastric bypass and eats a little at a time. She was super inappropriate but it gets better. I noticed that the first server brings out the check to the person behind my mom, she takes his credit card and proceeds with the payment. My server comes to my table with my check and tells me you could go to the front and pay. Absolutely NOT! The first server came and took my payment and I did not have to get up. Unbelievable! Never again! Gave it a 2 because of the ambiance not...

Went there after convincing my wife to give them another try. This was due to having gone there for b-fast on another previous visit,she ordered a patty melt and when she cut into it the meat was rotten!!! We spoke to the manager,which we have seen there and in the other restaurants around Miami.He compted our bill,we could of taken it further but didn't,i had been a regular customer but no anymore. Today it took the waitress forever to take our orders,not because the restataurant was busy there were only 7 tables,it was empty! When she did arrive,she seemed to have an attitude and when she gave us or food it was terrible,there were to many things wrong with them to even try an discribe.We powered through the meal and I finished my tea,leaving the empty mug near the edge of the table so she could see that it was empty but she never came,yet she sat down at a table across from us and had a conversation with them,all the while my mug sat there empty,next when I asked for honey she came back with a half empty tiny cup and said there was no more.We finished and I went to pay the check,it was the worst $40.00 I've spent for food in a long very time,it was at this time I noticed 8 jars full of honey next to the register,what a joke!! There was none for me but here they were for sale,if it was another restaurant they would of taken one of those and made sure whom ever wanted honey would of had it,not like we were eating there for free,the food there isn't cheap either.I shouldn't of left her a tip but I did.Hope you have a better expierience then we did if you decide to go there. For us it's gonna be the PALM GRILL from now on,it's a lot further down in Florida city but service is always great,no glasses run dry,foods always GREAT and there HONEY for everyone. Since we moved to the area 2 years ago, we fallen in love with chuck wagon, breakfast was absolutely fantastic, last two visits, food was bland, no flavor..we thought sometimes happens..2nd visit las week same, all the food my husband, my kids and mine no flavor at all, no love, no soul, when you cook, you add some love and soul into the food .. well our food was sad...we notice also an employees playing with their phone and then touching costumers plates,no washing hands..really? Our waitress was running around busy" (6 tables at the restaurant this is also was thinking, this place always busy ,we always wait a least 15 min for a table last 2 week only couples tables eating), and we needed something, the other 6 employees looking around chatting..(some playing on the phone) and the rest no one help us, my husband went to the front to ask for salt and coffe and I went to pay the check on front after 15 minutes waiting somebody get my credit card to pay the bill...I don't know if they change the owner, cook and/or manager..It's really a shame because we loved go for breakfast in this place we really do..but last 2 times was very very...
